Only if you are pre-disposed to diabetes, in which case the sugar may very well put you over the threshold. Obesity (which sugar causes) has a similar effect. Both are tremendously unhealthy in their own right of course. If you need some help getting away from sugar let us know and we will steer you towards some painless solutions.

I am so freaked out about taking too much sugar but every morning when I wake up I *need* a fruit juice. I always thought it was healthy if I drank the not from concentrate stuff but now I'm reading more and more how this is just sugar too. Sounds like you need some sativa based THC drops. They make for a lovely energising morning wake up :)

If you can get a blender at home just make yourself juice with all the fiber in it, this way the sugar releases slowly into your bloodstream. The blender should not have fruit matter left when you're done, that's what you need to get in your body. If that's not practical just eat your fruit while drinking water.

That just releases the sugar from the plant cells. There's way more instantly available sugar in a blended drink than if you just ate the fruit. It's weird but true

I have researched this one a bit. 23 and me is pretty easy and convenient but it is incomplete and can be a little misleading. I suggest you get their test and then run your data through promethease for better insights. I'd be happy to help anyone that needs it.

What happened is your liver was overwhelmed by the sugar in your pastry. I am going to assume you ate it first thing in the morning and that you didn't have anything else to eat so proportionally this amount of sugar was very high. It's actually not a bad thing that you can't eat sweets right now, take a week or 2 to restore your proper blood sugar levels. If things persist beyond this test your blood for sugar and insulin levels.

Sorry for the delay it's been a couple of more weeks and I am at maybe 90% of normal. I'm still not sure about anything but the freak show is over with not handling sugar. Not where I was energy wise though and I got a cold in the meantime because my resistance was low. I appreciate the help doc you helped me think about this clearly and that in itself kind of helps with the physical side. Much thanks

There is no doubt that government control of medicine stifles innovation and that costs lives. There is also no doubt that government regulation of medicine prevents fraud of the most deadly kind and that saves lives, it should also be stated that no viable replacement for this regulation has emerged yet.

But I don’t think this is even the “liberties” issue here. Its simply a fact that most people want collectivized medicine, usually from the government and if not from an insurance company. The “free” market for medicine, with people making their own decisions gets you right back to socialized medicine because that's where freedom leads us.
