Where did Hemlock go?
Although Cali has been at the top of the list for a while now, especially in price…
In my opinion Hemlock that used to appear about a decade ago still used to slap harder.

I know it was a clone because my dad grew it, but did people just give it up? Or does someone here grow it, or could perhaps.

If you do or could grow it.
You’d have my business!

But also why the hell is Cali so expensive? I know how plants grow and unless it takes 5 months to flower it’s an annoying strain.

White widow also used to be high on the list but has disappeared.

Maybe I’m just getting old and cranky

Hemlock is a strain I've never heard of, but seeing as it's a cross of Durban Poison, I'd say it's likely to be very rare at the moment. Cali is expensive if it's imported, vendor takes the risk. Order yourself from US, you'd pay a fraction of the price, but you take the risk.

Thing is, the old school strains are just crossed to make something different, that's the magic of Cannabis, cross two strains, and something different comes out!

Hemlock is Durban poison crossed with LA confidential and to be honest its not that strong however there was an earlier version that was created here in the good old UK back in the mid 90`s that was Durban poison and an Afghan landrace which is one of the parents of la confidential and it was a mean indica that was prone to handing out whities for the inexperienced.
why is cali so expensive well its because of nothing more than greed as its not better or worse than weed from any other place on the planet as it always comes down to the experience of the grower.
White widow is an old strain like AK47 and has gone out of fashion with the youngsters today but you can still get it in Amsterdam in most coffee shops.

What my father grew from a cutting that was labelled hemlock was still the strongest and most peculiar smelling smoke I’ve ever had.
I also shared it with people who have the same opinion.

Still I’ll check out those strains, because my father at 70 years of age still grows and makes crosses.

So maybe he can start at the beginning if he has the time
