Are you sure the address you sent it to was the newly generated one for that order? Sometimes my exchange defaults to the previous used address unless I change it…

When you say "no joy" from transaxe, do you mean they haven't replied yet or they say they have no record of the transaction?

You need to supply them the address that the coin was sent to. If its an LB address, even one previously used, they will locate and refund you.

Although delays and hiccups can often occur on the blockchain its very rare that transactions are not eventually completed.

I'm guessing that you're talking about the FCA assessment.

You have to complete the assessment to buy your bitcoin from the big exchanges.

If you spend more time learning you can buy more anonymously with P2P without any assessments, hodlhodl is a good service.

However the assessments for Kraken, Coinbase and Bittylicious are more or less the same, some questions are just worded differently, you should be able to pass the assessment with the answers I wrote here:

Download the kraken app or use Revolut which allows you to buy Bitcoin....it's relatively straightforward...we managed it and I put the collective IQ at 'modest'...good luck...when you get it set up it works well...

This reveals who are most active on the forum but shows up multiple ‘alt’ accounts where noobs are voting for themselves or faked to big up a vendor. It’s one of the reason why noobs only have 1/5th voting rights- to prevent them going berserk on a voting frenzy 🤓
