If a post gets lots of upvotes, it will rise to the top of the board and remain visible for longer.

And the votes you make, are one of the things that contribute to your reputation here, which will be considered if you have to make a dispute.

Another interesting thing about voting is that a biggas full voting history is visible to all (click on their username and ‘votes’). This reveals who are most active on the forum but shows up multiple ‘alt’ accounts where noobs are voting for themselves or faked to big up a vendor. It’s one of the reason why noobs only have 1/5th voting rights- to prevent them going berserk on a voting frenzy 🤓

I also just consider it a record of my positive iterations across the userbase, plus sorting by 'votes by person' can indicate hitherto unknown allegiances (new stoner friends)! or can be an indication of low lever conflicts which may require an attempt resolution (if not from alt-accs)
But yes, Rep is worth maintaining in the long run. It builds really fast and you never know when you might need it.

Not at all! Apparently, an awful lot of residential homes actively encourage, or at least in no way restrict active sex lives.
