Cannabis Extraction Using Propylene Glycol (for Vaping)

This is surprisingly easy to do, and gets great results 👍

I use propylene glycol because I read an article where they managed a 97% extraction of THC and other cannabinoids and terpenes, using the method I'm gonna outline below. It just wasn't successful at all with vegetable glycerin, so don't go down that path.

I haven't been able to measure my extract yet, but it's banging, and deffo has all the desired effect.

First, get some weed. I used Strainsburys UK Gelonade Shake, which is actually Cookie Dawg atm. Cookie Dawg contains pretty much all the terpenes that help with my chronic pain condition (fibromyalgia), so this was a good test.

I measured out ten grams of shake, which I guess cost me about 21 dollars.

Added it to my decarboxylator (any of the £80 ones on Amazon are fine), and used an initial cycle of 250 Fahrenheit for thirty minutes.

I then added 40ml of mono propylene glycol, and repeated the cycle at 230 Fahrenheit.

I used a fine muslin cloth to strain and squeeze the weed, and got back 30ml of thick, dark green goodness. The weed, with its 10ml of extract, went back in the decarboxylator with some butter, to make some flapjacks later.

I find that 20 drops from a squeezy bottle (roughly a third of a millilitre), added to 10ml of your regular ecig juice (I make my own) makes a good daily driver, and if I want to get hammered I can hold in a few long vapes.

With added flavours, this is pretty much undetectable unless you're vaping right next to a sniffer dog, so I just vape it anywhere I can vape.

Got some in my ecig now, with mango, passion fruit and lychee flavouring, and 6mg/ml of nicotine.

Hey biggas, I'm noticing a huge variety of shake on the site which is great but confusing 😁

I've tried three so far and Justweed's offering is the one I'm going back to. Good THC content for the price, it doesn't contain a huge amount of popcorn buds but when you grind the sugar leaf it produces a ridiculous amount of kief. Good balance of flavours and a rounded high.

What's your favourite shake and why?

Keep It Green’s super shake.

Bit more pricey than others but I’ve found it super consistent. I’m a vaper now and have found other shake to be too dry sometimes and inconsistent between batches.

This has amazing strength and is 100% popcorn buds/as described. Well worth a try.

I have only tried 3 so far, 2 of strainsburys offerings, and just weeds shake. Of the 3 I prefer justweed on taste, with strainsburys gelonade a close second. They were about even in terms of amounts of nugs, not a lot in any of the batches I've received, but, all offered fantastic discrete stealth, they're similar on price, but justweed wins it on the free ndd postage. I paid £35 yesterday for 14g of justweed, before noon, and I received it around 10 this morning. Just rolled it up to try out, and it has a nice pleasant taste, and very pleasant buzz. Feels good in terms of pain relief too. I'd definitely recommend it 👌

It's not actually as good as a pure indica for my pain, but that could just be a different type of pain (I have fibromyalgia).

I'm using shake primarily for a pleasant high, but I've been successfully using Afghan Gold and Simpsons Kush hash for more severe pain, as well as a weaker vape for everyday pain.

Thank you for replying. I'm a fellow fibro sufferer, and I really struggle without herb available. I find the shake takes the edge if nicely, and distances me from the pain. I'm hopefully coming out of a long and very painful flare atm. I'm also trying to switch from smoking to liquid tapes if I can. What vapes do you find helpful for day to day?

Well I've actually been making my own. I'm a confirmed nicotine addict but I've been vaping that for about 15 years and making my own liquid for most of that.

Recently I cottoned onto some vape fluid from Rocketdogronnie on here, so I've just started adding some to my nicotine vape fluid and it seems to give me a decent body hit without being super strong, so I'm just on that all day and I usually have some indica hash around for morning pains.

I'm not sure anything helps really with a flare, I just end up in as hot a bath as I can stand a few times a day and suffer in between.

Orangina or the mimosa from KIG are up there for me. I haven't been so excited for years over a bag I've bought. I'm a fan of orange strains which tend not to be so mainstream now so finding KIG was a treat for me. I'm a newbie at little biggy so still finding my way around.

Mmm right now what I have on me some fine biscotti with purple hues with a sweet taste to go with. TGD. And some nice wizz Khalifa kush wich taste better than its mummy OG. Had some Lemon Cherry Nerdz from Pistach a good while back and haven't found anything similar since. That said, the vendors you mention both have some excellent stock. Green cats Blueberry Muffins probably the best tasting recently although I am currently blazing through Green Teams Rainbow Cake which is very pleasant in both taste and effect.

My grandad was disabled and built his own house and business to fit around him. All the doors were huge & switches lower down for him to reach from his wheelchair. So for abled bodied folks everything was slightly more awkward. In his house we moved around more awkwardly than him. It was his domain. And having watched his numerous struggles when I was a kid I completely get that he wanted a place that fitted his needs above everyone else's. We were the one eyed man of your example.

I have to say if anyone is looking for a top vendor with great smoke and a top service, try The Spacemen! I had a string of problems on here a while back but this seller doesn't fail. Nicotine and THC vape fluid recipe

This is good for replacing your normal vape fluid when you need to be super stealthy, for keeping you topped up at a level all day, or for people who like a tobacco spliff but don't want to smoke any more.

The easiest way to do it is just to add Rocketdogronnie's white runtz vape oil to your favourite commercial liquid but I've been vaping for 15 years now and I've made my own for most of that, so I know exactly what's going in it and I can have any flavour I fancy.

You'll need:
* Vegetable Glycerin (you can get this on amazon, I use The Soapery).
* Nicotine in PG/VG solution (I use 75 mg/ml which you can easily buy online in the UK).
* Vape safe flavours (I get mine from Flavourart UK who I've been using for about a decade).
* A bottle of Rocketdogronnie's White Runtz vape oil.
* A mixing cup and either a measuring syringe or a measuring cup.
* A cheap handheld milk frother.

I make myself 10ml of this every day or two and it keeps my fibromyalgia at bay, but I can also hold down a few big tokes to get wasted. Takes me no longer than making a cup of coffee these days.

For approx 10 ml of 6mg/ml add 7 ml of VG, 0.8 ml of 75 mg/ml nicotine solution, 2 ml of flavour and around 20 drops of Ronnie's vape oil to taste to your mixing cup, then whisk it well with your coffee frother.

It's ready to vape 😎

For 3mg/ml you would use 0.4 ml of nicotine solution, or for 9mg/ml use 1.2, etc.

Hm, I'd not thought of that, since I'm a dedicated nicotine addict, but a lot of people use vaping to cut down by slowly reducing the strength of nicotine in their vapes, so I see no reason some THC shouldn't help with that!
