Yes, some people cannot ingest cannabis effectively and if you were taking strong product without effect then that I’s probably you. It’s just unlucky.

RSO is one of the strongest and purest edibles and if I was you I would give that a go rather than messing with more sweets of dubious content. Treat RSO with respect, just a grain of rice size to start mixed in a coffee or on a biscuit. If after 45 minutes there is no effect, try another grain. If nothing after that edibles are not for you 🤷‍♂️🥲

Yeah it was 2 items of 500mgrs each I’m guessing I was ripped off but they are very well known and seem to be popular 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ They even sent replacement and free oz of shake so I’m confused I’ve been told you can be immune to edibles if you have a certain lactic chemical in ur stomach acid my scientist dad confirmed this so must be true 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Those sort of strengths are ridiculous imo. I think you’ve had a lucky escape- as with a lot of products on here stronger is not always better. Here’s what Leafly have to say about mega doses, starting with 1/10 of yours!🙀:

Most edibles aren’t tested for strength and this allows sellers to make wild claims or pass on wild claims by the makers. We tend to pile into those that claim to be the strongest because they seem to be the best value. Not sure it’s a great idea myself….😵‍💫

It depends ;) .... A bottle (2000mg) lasts for about a month (for me). Sativa oil makes you do more work, as oppose to be glued to the chair/TV.

Try Northern organics caps and brownies, anything that claims to be 500mg are generally fake! DIUK also does some good ones

Have you ever tried chocolate bars infused with hashish and mushrooms? They take about an hour to work, but what a ride. I got them here in US.....don't know about the European markets.

It sounds like you need a better edibles supplier.. 500mg should have you coming up like a bigger!

There's a lot involved in THC absorbtion, but you should be able to feel any dose over 50mg for sure.

For people with a higher tolerance, then try THC capsules or brownies. Brownies will metabolize the THC really well, and the THC Capsules do the same thing, in a more intense way.

I have been using a Yocan Uni Pro for a month or so. Highly recommend. Small, inexpensive, great battery with display (3-5 sec draw, lasts 150+ draws at a guess, maybe more but only takes about an hour to charge anyway!), variable voltage in 0.1 increments (2.0v - 4.2v), 10 sec pre-heat, adjustable height/width for different size carts is a nice touch, too.

I have also used Ccell M3 auto draw pen battery. Very good extraction but no pre-heat, no battery display and tends to fall over, which doesn't help when the recommendation is to keep carts upright.

Overall though, impressed with the Yocan. I think some pictures make it look a little "cheap" looking but the actual product in hand feels and looks a lot better.

I have tried DrEx and SCL carts without any problems in the Yocan.

I just picked up a WulfMods 2 Duo from grasscity for under £20 delivered (with coupons). Lovely little (tiny!) device with separate carts for liquids and a dab cart for concentrates. A couple of adapters so you can slot in any 510 thread. Four temp settings and a preheat. Lowest setting is 3.4v so it does burn hot, goes up to 4.0v which is for the dab. Huge clouds but potential coughs for novices😂
You can’t change the coil or filters on the dab cart- soak to clean or replace when necessary for a fiver.
Can’t go wrong at that price! 👍👍

Having used it for a while now I would say that I don’t think the dab cart is up to much, you would be better off with a cheap pen for dabbing. But as a slot and go 510 battery with variable temp. & preheat it’s pretty cool…

Not not got a pre heat but I’m using a Ccell silo with Dr Terpy carts (his combos are value of money big time man)

The battery life is also decent 👌

but depends on what carts your using it for ? Distillate ? Rosin - SCL is ya man top also.

Anyway I’ve also heard the wulf mod 2 is decent from another bigga on here regarding battery ect not sure if that pre heats

But if you make sure the oil warm in your pocket ect than the pre heat should not be an issue (seen nutters on here saying they used a hair dryer 😂 and all sorts to heat the oil -sounds like too much hard work to me lol )
