Finding good quality and value extracts is a nightmare here right now. When I joined up I was spoiled for choice.

They're either cheap and mediocre or extortionately expensive and fucking fabulous. It's getting to the point where I just can't afford to buy here anymore

I believe a lot of the vendors don't think there's a big market for it on here so it's not worth their while. So if you don't speak up it'll never improve.

I need every single biggie dabber out there to please chip in here and keep this visible.

And vendors please also chip in with your reasons. It can't be that hard to source when you're getting all these cali packs through no problem.

And I know for sure some of the best producers of extracts are right here in the UK.

I'm guessing nobody really takes it on here due to the silence. I think I've tried most on here and his is literally the only one that actually did anything. I suspect some vendors are using thinning agents as I've had a few that were incredibly watery and weak.

To any of you out there that are eating those dam awful distillate filled gummies please for the love of god stop and get yourself some RSO. Just try it once and you will never go back. It's full spectrum, every single molecule of the plant is in there.

There's actually a few vendors on here making edibles using RSO. I'll update if I can find them or feel free to chip in.

This is for all you extract vendors out there in the UK (who are few and far between) and any like minded consumers.

We need more of you to invest in some high quality extracts like rosins, piatella and live resins to make this market more competitive.

The whole place is flooded with low quality garbage. A lot of it is pretty much just isolate soaked in terps.

There are obviously a few exceptions like TheHashCollective23 and DonLoco who are both absolute Legends and generally keep a great stock of premium goods.

just a tip with the peak, after over 2k dabs with it make sure u get a 3d xl chamber, its a game changer

Yeah u just unscrew it and put a different one on. The 3d chamber gives u way more vapor than the original, the 3d xl is taller so fits more wax, also gets hotter faster, tho the main benefit for me is u can rip it a lot harder than the regular 3d, even if u use the same amount of wax.

Just remember q tip/Glob Mop the chamber after every dab but let it cool at least like 175c first, dunk the chamber and glass into isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes once a week or so.

If you have the money and smoke extracts a lot, you should get a puff co proxy.

Yes they're expensive, but wow, they're good. They heat up in around 20-30 seconds, you can use them around 12 times before the battery goes. It doesn't sound like a lot, but the mighty vape goes dead after about 8 uses for me.

You can also recharge it via USB-C, so taking a powerbank with you means you can smoke it all day.

I've used mine everyday for around 6 months and it's still going strong. Highly, highly recommended if you can afford it.

Dopevapes (uk based headshop type) have 5 packs of replacement coils for around £32 ish, id just double check the legitimacy of the site as i havent used it yet, only researched where to get coils for when i finally stop being indecisive and buy my own orbit 😂

Loving my Yocan Orbit so far. It provides huge hits and it's so easy to clean. Less than £30 to the door!

It was fine for me until I tried non full melt on it and suffered the consequences. For live resin it's fine, but getting spare parts (namely the coil) were pretty much impossible

Tbh I get the hype now, the puffco peak pro is a beast and can handle even good quality hashes without burning and super easy cleanup

Plus the yocan is a bit too hot and scorched some of my goods, unlike the puffco that was ceramic and way more gradual/distributed heat

Honestly I had that one to begin with and it was solid! Only issue was capacity - the heating times and chamber size meant that I'd need to refill it for 2 full chambers worth if I wanted a proper hit. Main problem was I was getting it to get into vaping over burning the herb, so this didn't pack enough of a punch for me

The volcano is my main boy, super highly recommend if you can afford. I've seen them being resold on FB marketplace for like 100 squids if you're lucky

Yeah, I use my Air SE mostly for top-ups on the go. Grabbed it on discount for about 60 quid. My mate has a Volcano that I get to use regularly. Great machine.

The bubbler is just awesome. I got it for a coil king originally cos they're 100% compatible but then I wasn't happy with the calibre and upgraded to the yocan. Luckily that was also compatible without any extra parts 👌

I'd still consider selling the extracts standalone or even 510 carts filled with live resin.

Reason for that is - I think people buying this can be categorized into one of 2 types:

1) "Proper dabbers" - just want extracts, have their own setup already
2) "Cart lads" - enjoy live resin but likely are used to buying 510 carts
3?) "disposables?" - not sure who it's aimed at but I'd get em for events n that

Yeah nice I just worry about the disposables cause there always pretty shit even with undiluted d9 they clog and will be worse with undiluted live resin I would expect !! All the live resin 510 carts I've seen on here are liquid aswell so I'm not sure if they would clog aswell. I sell the comcetrates on there own anyway and will think about doing 3 different concentrates as a bundle with 3 different types and strains etc and then a bundle with 3 different strains and a portable dab pen like this one and see what happens I may buy a few 510 carts put only live resin. In and see how they are main thing I do not want to do is water down anything in anyway that's how we roll only the best products here bro 🙏😉🔥

If I recall you're meant to decarb it and heat it up to get it to be liquid and stay that way, then you get metal syringes and inject it into the 510 carts. But I'm no expert, I'm sure you can find great advice on here for it

Appreciate it mate. Royal Mail are so notoriously fucking random with their delivery times. The only service that's consistently (well 9/10 times) next day for me is T24 or SD. But SD is kind of dodgy too with all the extra handling involved.

It's worth the extra for T24 and myself and I'm sure many others would prefer T24 tracked not signed .

Right I think I'm going crazy. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction...

I've been delving into the world of concentrates, getting myself a Yocan Orbit to dab at home with the idea that it's a better alternative to carts.

I got recommendations for products from super certified vendors - got myself some shatter and badder - but they don't seem to hit. I'd expect these to hit harder than standard flower but I got the opposite.

Fairly certain this is down to missing the entourage effect, but with the extracts market the way it is, there seems to be way more of an emphasis on high THC extracts, which makes me feel like I'm the only one with this opinion(?)

I'd love to hear all thoughts and ideas. Has this been the case for anyone else? Are some people more susceptible to the entourage effect than others? Should I be looking for certain products over others?

Sounds like you’re not crazy at all — a lot of people have the same experience when switching from flower to pure concentrates.

Flower usually has a wider range of cannabinoids and terpenes, which work together in that “entourage effect” you mentioned. Most shatter and badder on the market are very THC-heavy but stripped of many of those extra compounds during processing. The result is something that can feel strong in theory (high THC %) but sometimes hits in a more one-dimensional way compared to a well-rounded flower high.

Some people’s bodies seem to respond much more to that full-spectrum profile, so if you’re one of them, even a sky-high THC concentrate might feel oddly flat.

If you want a stronger, more “flower-like” hit from dabs, you might want to:
• Look for live resin or live rosin instead of shatter/badder — they’re often made to preserve terpenes and minor cannabinoids.
• Try blends or products specifically labelled as full spectrum.
• Experiment with different terpene profiles — some terps can drastically change how the high feels.

You’re not alone here — it’s more common than people think. High THC isn’t always the same as high effect.

Got any recommendations? I've heard great things about the puffcos but they break the bank. Might upgrade in the future.

For now I ended up getting a coil king that some biggaz recommended but that used an exposed coil
