Next time you send from Revolut to Exodus, wait for it to confirm before sending from Exodus to biggy.

It will confirm eventually (show as paid here) once fees drop to the level you sent with but you paid extra fees for no reason.

Also, in future, before sending Bitcoin, go to this site and use the same medium priority fee displayed there, it will have changed every-time you are sending, this way your transaction will confirm within an hour 99% of the time:

Under 'transaction fees' on mempool use the same 'sat/vB', for instance right now medium priority is 1 sat/vB but it changes all the time.

When you go to send your Bitcoin from Exodus/Revolut you'll get an option to change the fee (hopefully).

A transaction will show up right away. for example littleB will say 'received', but your order still wont be paid, because no confirmations have happened yet.

I made order yesterday with my own wallet, set fees around 7 quid and had confirmations within minutes, i use a wallet you can set your own fees with, atomic.

I said coinbase wallet and a random name. I have an exodus wallet but been reluctant to use it as will incur more fees when sending from that. Will be doing so in future though

It's usually only a couple of quid extra for the gas fees to send from Exodus to here when you've loaded it from the exchange, and it gives you a layer of separation.

Yes, but it has to go into a separate block to be confirmed the 2nd time. Sometimes the block clears in minutes, but rarely it can take over an hour. So it'll be at least twice as long as it takes you to send directly, and you'll have to factor that into the process.

Hey mate it's not always obvious where your fees are going and when you pay them. On revolut you can be paying fees for adding funds, fees for buying, fees for sending and the bitcoin gas fees. I think you get a breakdown of how much the other account will recieve before you confirm the withdrawal. If you are happy with revolut you are still going to need another wallet to send coin to because it has been known to limit the number of different withdrawal addresses you can use. Get a non-KYC wallet to use for buying from here, I use trust wallet and I know a lot of people use Exodus. Good luck 👍

Absolutely 100% this. Buy from the exchange and send to an external non-KYC wallet. It'll cost you a couple of quid (if that, in normal fee times like now) to send from Exodus or equivalent on, but the fees are clearly added on to your send amount and they'll receive what you expect them to. Invariably that extra £10 or whatever that is left in your wallet will lose money between the time you add it and the time you spend it, if your luck is anything like mine.

Ha, worse mate. If it's £10 for the product and £3 fee then you're looking at another £3 fee to send on, so you'd need to fund £16 to send £10 in this scenario. All rough figures here obviously. If you send £10, £100 or £1000 then the last fee to send will always be the same (but fluctuate constantly) as it's based on transaction, not amount.

Ok, to calculate the exact amount to send from the wallet is there a breakdown of the fees i can look at so i can add that on to the asking price or is it better to just add on say an extra tenner and hope that covers it? Sorry for all the ??? just trying to get it right in my head.

So, click on the link above and that lets you monitor the blockchain in real time. Click on the dial/guage in the bottom left and it'll show you the current fees. Always check this as sometimes your wallet wants to send at much higher fees than needed, and sometimes at lower fees which may never clear. Use the Custom fee option on Exodus when sending.

Binance was flawed from the start but yes most high street banks are clamping down on BTC purchases as we all know.

Coinbase is a good shout if one wants to use let’s say a Monzo or Wirex account to buy smaller amounts of BTC (£100-£500)

Stay away from Revolut at all costs the horror stories just keep piling up on dw forums around the net

There are many that will sell you BTC for another commodity but unless you know them personally or have established a relationship online over time be very careful

The end goal here is to buy whatever amount you want and get it on a cold storage wallet ASAP.

Trezor or Ledger preferably, these devices only cost around £150 and as long as you don’t loose your key / password your BTC will be safe and sound

If you have friend who’s an electrician “wink wink” then there’s still time to set up a few antminers or build some yourself and get mining.

Then obviously there the option that you could supply a service that generates BTC

Also Open a revolut account and you can buy crypto directly from there just don’t send payment from revolut to LB .. use a private wallet like exodus or mycelium.

Well revolut only allows a maximum of 50 address and after you sent to 50 different wallet addresses your fucked basically..

So I just checked and REVOLUT X is a separate crypto exchange backed by revolut.

If you wanna save on crypto fees you’ll have to upgrade to the Premium plan Not the + plan.. the + plan is useless and doesn’t save you on crypto fees.

You’ll need the premium plan for £7.99 a month which will reduced your fees to 0.29%-0.99% or £1 based on that months trading volume.

The most expensive plan Ultra is £45 per month and your fees are reduced to 0%-0.49%.

Your only additional fee sending to your external non-KYC wallet (like Exodus) then onwards is the gas fees for the transaction between there and Transaxe (so like an extra couple of quid at most). Gives you a layer of separation, and it counts as 1 wallet address of your 50, even if you do that 100 times.

Subjective comments on hash - I tried some of Eddy's hash. Smelt great when opening. Vaping it was interesting. Very herbal flavour masking some of the terpenes. But very easy to burn, even using a decent mod box and quartz cup. It's a richer more complex flavour than say, oil/wax. I've bought some hash rosin to see how that performs for me. In theory this will give a more complex flavour than oil/wax, while there should be less of the somewhat problematic (to me, anyway) plant material. Not to mention the solventless extraction method. Experimenting like this is most interesting 😊

Vaping it didn't work too well for me, but I think it may be my technique at fault 😊 I've tried some of your hash rosin. That melts beautifully into a clear liquid. It's powerful stuff. Gave me a great head high, IMHO great value, Eddy. Rosin seems to be the way for me. Keep up the good work 👍

Tried some of your rosin in a Crossing ACE vapour cup. With slices of fresh lime. Works very well. A different flavour (even taking into account the lime) to wax/badder and one I really like. To me, it's halfway between hash and wax/badder, with the hash flavours reduced by the rosin process. They're still there, just more in the background. For me, vaping straight hash gives too much of the grass/herbal flavour to the point where it overpowers other flavours.

I have an ACE cup, and you're putting slices of lime into it? Into the cup itself? I'm struggling to picture this logistically.

What I do is thinly slice a fresh lime and put a few slices into the cup. About 3-4 slices. Then use the cup as normal. My thinking was that terpenes in the lime would work well with some of the terpenes in the wax. And so, for me anyway, this turns out to be the case. I guess any citrus fruit woul work ok.

I think I'm just too old for all this. Was much easier when I smoked spliffs 😆

😄 I know what you mean! Not combusted for a few years and tbh just recently got a hankering to have some hash in a pipe (oh used to luuuurve that!) for old times sake. Then I have a vape, get nice and toasted without a sore throat or chesty grogginess and the pipe thought disappears! (never say never though...)

I used to use lighters and that aomai lighter has a very gentle flame. Even so I moved over to an Induction Heater by Yll Vape. I find it heats the dynavap less harshly than a lighter.

Cotton Bacon from Amazon £6/£10 or so but lasts ages.

Commercial hash less than $10/g tends to be harsher vaped than higher priced (and I'm only talking the next tier hash $10-$15/g).

Tiny bit of (quality) hash wrapped in a tiny bit of Cotton popped into a Dynavap run through an IH heater - after a slight learning curve - equals less harshness.

Just some things to consider. :)

No combustion for me in 4 years. And your right buddy the yearning never goes away.

I didn't even think about an induction heater could very well be the way to go.

Got mine from Rec Vapes. £99 without batteries, £112 with but out of stock at the moment. Had mine for about a year.

I know seems expensive compared to £10 lighter but no gas filling, batteries last ages (around 100 heat cycles), no twirling of Dynavap and once bought I've never looked back (after slight learning curve!) Weed, Hash, Concentrate all good with this.

The "click" of the dynavap is really obvious, too. (well, with my Dynavaps anyway - I know some people have trouble!)

Oh and you don't need an armoured cap or similar. In fact, I find they don't work correctly with this IH, they are better with lighters.

Sandwich with low grade flower/shake or vape wool.

Lamart Bakx is probably better but only sold on limited time drops, hard to even get one, I've been trying lol

The Herborizer Digi is damn expensive 😲 more than my venty. Not sure I could justify that price for vaping hash.

It's also the king of vaping flower too of course. Smashes the mighty, volcano, venty, crafty etc (own some and tried the others). The only dry herb vape I've used that's comparable is the flowerpot. Like a Rolls-Royce of vapes.

But you would want it to be at that crazy price haha. I had mine for 4 years and don't regret, after warranty care is good.

You are right though, it's expensive yeah mate. If you tell us your price range maybe we can come up with something more suitable. I have heard people get good results with Dynavap though, maybe you could try different technique with vape cotton etc.

I also own the mighty and the herborizer is a lot better imo. Herborizer is designed for complete extraction in one or two hits. (Side note, this is for flower, it won't extract hash that quickly)

It took me a long time and a lot of research before I bought mine but definitely don't regret it. A bonus is, due to the glass design, you get to watch the hash melt as you vape it haha.

I went budget, Coilking AIO, which does for me. I'm sure you can get better if you want to pay more. I usually use carts so the dab is an occasional treat for me. You really taste the hash, it's like an old style "hot knife".

I got myself a taster pack off the good stuff and a week off work. I intend to research this further🕵‍♂️😶‍🌫️
I have tinymight2, xmax v3 pro and dynavap b only a butane torch though. so far the xmax on 220°C on session mode is my hash preference in the little stainless steel dosing caps keeps it all clean.
I have found so far that less is more and I tend to put too much in the TM2
I make it small and flat in cotton bacon if I just want the hash flavour.
My favourite way is in a sandwich of ground up bud for optimal flavour and hit I would put a bit of extract in there too a big plus this way is it all goes in with your abv.
I will report back if I change my mind.

The PAX gets a lot of hate online but I've sworn by them for years. Currently have the PAX 3, I've never used the actual concentrate adaptor but I use the sandwich method with hash and bud and it works amazing. Not sure how you would go about vaping hash alone but I love to combine. Currently on the JB Orange Apricot from Eddy's and it's a real treat. No idea why the PAX gets bashed around so much, great vapes IME.

I use the xmax v3 pro, if you sandwich a little bit of bubble hash in between some bud works great. Can also recommend mixing some hash and concentrate together and do the same for a very intense hit and high

Must be something missing.. gets me toasted, tastes amazing at least for the first few puffs. Will have me coughing and sweating sometimes. I’m tempted to buy a water pipe adapter and see how that is with the dry herb vape

Short term storage -parchment paper, dark, cool place

Medium term storage - parchment paper, airtight container, dark cool place. Fridge best for oily hash.

Long term storage - vac sealed, in freezer

Hash can last over 5 years with right storage, THC does begin degrading to CBN though.

I'm gonna recommend odin, if you're looking for some hash to blow your head off grab the rainbow king, it's sublime and can honestly say i haven't been as high as I was for years!!!
