Please don't do this.
If the Doctor isn't prescribing, there is probably a reason.
We are running out of viable antibiotics in the world as antibiotic resistant bacteria increase.
We area already seeing many deaths because of so called "super bugs" https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-bug-idUKL3167831520070331 that are a direct result of unrestrained and misapplied use of antibiotics.
Obviously there are a lot of tin foil hat types who what the WHO. But here is their guidance:
https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/antibiotic-resistance
Here is the relevant bit:
Individuals
To prevent and control the spread of antibiotic resistance, individuals can:
• Only use antibiotics when prescribed by a certified health professional.
• Never demand antibiotics if your health worker says you don’t need them.
• Always follow your health worker’s advice when using antibiotics.
• Never share or use leftover antibiotics.
• Prevent infections by regularly washing hands, preparing food hygienically, avoiding close contact with sick people, practising safer sex, and keeping vaccinations up to date.
Prepare food hygienically, following the WHO Five Keys to Safer Food (keep clean, separate raw and cooked, cook thoroughly, keep food at safe temperatures, use safe water and raw materials) and choose foods that have been produced without the use of antibiotics for growth promotion or disease prevention in healthy animals.
Non specific/topical Antibiotics are anyway really bad for you. A lot of scientists now think that a disrupted biome is the cause of many ills including the rise of autoimmune illnesses, but also problems with sleep, skin, mental health problems and all the rest.
Antibiotics should be a last and not a first resort.
If you need repeated doses of the same antibiotic to solve a problem such as tonsillitis, then antibiotics are probably not the solution.
If you are buying antibiotics from anywhere other than an approved supplier (particularly in the so called developed world) there is a significant chance you are getting substandard or counterfeit goods anyway -https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9394205/#:~:text=Of%20the%2013%20555%20samples,366%2F3511)%2C%20respectively.
Let the flaming commence.
