Need impartial judgement! AITA?
Hello Biggas,

I'm having an argument with a vendor and I need to know if I'm in the wrong here. I'm attaching our whole conversation unedited, only editing the vendors name and order as I'm not looking to damage anyone's reputation and the issue is ongoing, just need an honest impartial opinion if I am the AH. Just to clarify I'm a buyer here on LB for a little more than 3 years with 50+ buys and 0 disputes and such a thing has not happened to me before unless I was scammed, so that is why I was a bit harsh but I don't think I have been unfair. The dispute is opening tomorrow and $1000 are in play so I need advice on what to do. Leaving that for you to judge.

Cheeky vendor giving you misinformation and telling lies, they the ones should be apologising. What does their manifesto state? If I were you I’d name and shame them it only protects others from the same experience, from the thread of texts they are dishonest trying to play long game to scam you as it’s a significant sum. Dispute get your money back as you have perfect reputation, leave an honest review on their page to warn others and never use them again. Some dodgy shit going on on here and there’s a click of them supporting each others synthetics, dirty pgrs and fake hash scams, calling them out is the only way to make things better for the site. People say nothing they will only get worse.

Thank you and you are right! Vendors like that should and must be called out to protect others.
My thinking is though, as this is ongoing I refrain to point them out because I have ordered two or three times before from them and all has been perfect so far except this time, and they currently have 50+ sells with 0% dispute and a 9.8 rating.
Their manifesto says they ship three times a week and orders arrive up to 7 days.
Clearly not in this case and I am (maybe blindly) currently giving them a break as things do happen but mainly I just want to be in the know.

Here’s the thing, smaller orders will always be plain sailing. As I say they play long game testing the water to see what they can get away with. Tag you along until you go in big then you see their true colours. Damage their reputation for the unnecessary stress and anxiety they caused you. Don’t let them hypnotise you or let them make you feel you owe them something, you paid for a service and got played and lied to, just give them a taste of their own medicine with an honest review and a post on their page get your money back and move on would be my advice

Wouldn't be shocked if vendor was dropshipping. Why else would it take "a bit of time to get out packs out"?

What do you mean by dropshipping in this scenario? I would think he has supply issues but who knows.

So there are certain vendors who take orders, place them with a main source. ie a vendor takes your order at a profit, then places that order with a vendor like Pistach. So they aren't they ones shipping.

Oh I see, thanks for clarifying. I honestly didn't imagine schemes like that exist on here.

Yeah, but not very common. There's only 1 vendor here I know for sure does it, but he's small.

Thank you, that's what I'm thinking, telling someone to "chill" in this position this just makes me even more anxious.

I think anyone would agree that its a hell of a worry if you're not updated about a delay and are just waiting. In this faceless scenario that we are all in, it would seem obvious from our side of the fence.

From their reaction, no such worry exists!

In an ideal world they'd have apologuised, thanked you for your valuable insight from your feedback that they can now apply to other customers, to prevent heated messages being sent. That would have worked. But they didn't

You do go on a bit, and that's completely normal when stress is active.

It was really up to them to take the professional route, but instead they got pissed off.

Chalk it up to a bad day, and get yourself calm. You've got it all off your chest, you've got it confirmed you're not going mad, it was a bit unreasonable from them on two counts, not telling you in the first place, and not acknowledging your legitimate worry.

Let it go. Start fresh. And hopefully you'll peace of mind will come soon.

I am kind of confused by your response. Yes I might have lost my shit just a little bit but I don't think I have gone overboard nor am I "stressed" in the sense, more like just anxious for losing my money, which I think is legitimate. Also I can't let it go and start fresh having spent so much money and this whole ordeal is very much against LBs community and what this site stands for.
