Totally, I love the thought of it he UK being like Amsterdam or various US states. Would be heaven to enjoy without being branded a criminal

Seems like my local police force are putting all of their efforts into busting weed farms. So much coke around at the minute, people getting stabbed, burglary rapes but no. Let's nick people for growing a plant. FFS.
Easy target. Can't wait for it to be legal.

A few months ago I'm laying in bed thinking "woe is me, why can't I get hold of any weed" 4am the police raid next door. It was literally the other side of my bedroom wall and I had no idea. :(

No need to share. We all know weed will win the race if it was ever given a chance ;) the bars are never full in Amsterdam, unless there is football on :P

By 2023 it will be legal, UK are taking steps daily scientifically seeing the beneficial effects. And totally agree, this is a money spinner for the government tax wise. And with the pandemic they need to kick start the economy and recoup money so I think it will happen sooner rather than later. I posted this a few days ago

Your right though mate, the amount of jobs this would create, from warehouse, distribution, shops etc. Etc list goes on really, so many job opportunities with legalisation.
Economically it makes total sense, it would remove street dealers, allowing them to set up legitimately. Whilst reducing police resources who could then deal with more serious issues. Tax would be massive for country and a lot more people would be happier as they don't need to hide in the shadows any more.
The funny thing is, the people who are against legalising it, are the people who never stopped smoking it throughout college and uni. Hasn't done them any harm now has it

Yeah, it would create 10,000s of new jobs in the UK generating income tax. Then you gotta think about the tax from the product itself, licensing costs to sell. Huge money maker for the government.
