From my experience (and two other LB customers who posted about it), seizure by revenue.ie seems to have become the rule with Radar-Brider since beginning of April 2021...

To go back to the main to^pic: Is there seller based in Belfast?? Surelly the custom clearance will be less risly from there...

I wonder if they'll get through by writing "CBD buds" on the custom declaration. In Ireland CBD cannabis (meaning with less than 0.2% THC) is perfectly legal...

I ordered from Hootan (Spain) and it got seized...

About CBD: the burden of proof is for the custom, not to the buyers!
If custom has to start testing the THC levels of all the weed they seize, they may just give up seizing...

If every person seized claim CBD and ask for a test: we will bury the custom under paperwork. Not to mention THC/CBD testing requires budget, machines and some skilled labor.
All that work for 7 or 14g per seizure? I pretty sure they'll just give up.

The more I think I think about it, the more I think those seizures are actually illegal. "Cannabis Herbal" is legal in ireland. They have to prove it is actually "Cannabis Herbal with more than 0.2% THC" for it to be seized...

For me (rural ireland), it can take ages: 10 to 20 working days (so 2 to 5 weeks total...). But the saler aint always to blame. An Post is a shit show in this time of Covid/Brexit; Did you see their truspilot rating? LOL

Another seizure notice, my 3rd in 3 month. Only 1 order went through :/.

Since I have 3 seizure (with their date and seizure reference number), i can do some stats!

Assuming that the seizure reference number are incremented by 1 at each seizure, the "Dublin Parcel Hub, Oak road, Knockmitten, Dublin 12" seems to average 88 seizure per day (or 1 seizure every 5 minute on a 8hour day)...

NB: The last seizure I got, the seller sent 7g, but the officer who seized (S. Martin) only reported 3.5g!

So, if revenue.ie is reading our posts (which I'm pretty sure they do): Please investigate agent S. Martin; cause
he is a fucking pot smoker too!!!

Well, from discussing with the sellers (RB, SH and Hootang): they do not get seized very often with their other customers. So I would rather think that once we get seize once (using ultra carefull random checks like dogs) we (our name and/or address) are on a sort of red list that gets flagged for extra checking each time...

I'll try to be delivered to a Belfast friend with completely different name and address and let you guys now...

Over my last 5 orders (March, April, May) 2 have been seized, 1 went through and 2 are still in stand-by for more than 3 weeks now (no seizure notice, but not parcel either).

Of the 2 seized orders: 1 was from the UK and the other was from spain...
I don't understand why orders from spain will still go through custom...

Same experience here... 3 seizures out of 4 orders. But 1 has been (partially) refunded, 1 will be reshipped to France, 1 is still in reship to ireland (wait and see)...
So sad...

ETH, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin would be very easy to implement. And would mitigate the risk associated with putting all the eggs in a single basket :)
