Super facinating article and coincidence or not ;-) we are just finalising a way to bring DMT to LB. Due to the nature, power and the respect we have for this medicine we most likely won't list this item just yet. We are trying to find a way to offer this safely...but yeah its a tough one. What's nice is you could micro-dose what we have in vape form...but how do we make sure that everyone is safe for those who for instance don't listen to us and take it slow. We ourselves have had life changing experiences with this medicine but it is surely not for the faint hearted and requires a level of respect that one might only find when working with master plants like ayahuasca. We would love to heare your thoughts on how we can safely provide this community and option to experience DMT

Safe environment is definitely advised. I'd also highly recommend getting into your chosen reclining position before you kick off.
First time i did it was in my mates kitchen. The plan was to take a couple of hits and swiftly walk the 9-10 steps to the sofa in the lounge;
2 steps into the middle of the kitchen and it was a case of "nope, we're going to lie down right here, right now"
On a non breakthrough hit ( so the ones with "only" visuals and sound effects) I found i was still vaguely aware of having a body - on a big one? Good luck with that...

From my understanding the trip lasts averagely 5-15 mins. Some can go on for longer, it just depends on the person and dosage.

Pink Kush always does the trick for me. Iโve had great examples of this from Green Cat and The Spacemen. Also MKK2020โs OG Kush, but thatโs currently out of stock.
Hey mate while everyoneโs different, Iโd say a safe bet is a strong Kush variety and usually a few available.
Motor breath wouldโve been my other tip but believe thatโs sold old.
Iโm loving jungle grapes for ptsd, depression and sleep. Good all rounder, lacks the insta KO though but an epic strain.
Personally I donโt read too much into indica / sativa as found when I grew the pheno and harvest time dictated the high ๐ค

Have you thought about RSO, its often better for sleep and medicinal use, you only need a little, half of a rice grain sized blob maybe, a bit more depending on your tolerance.
Eddys hashbar has some Stardawg RSO which is an indica dominant strain so should tick all the boxes for you, ill add a clickable link as Eddys page can be slow in loading sometimes... ๐๐ป
As far as bud goes i cant get enough of the Kushes at the moment, so many of them work for me personally...
TSM have some Washing Machine, its an offshoot from Bubba Kush and is a nice strong indica.

You ever do tolerance break? I've done a couple, longest was nearly 3 months. I swear everytime I start smoking again it hits me harder..... for a while..
Iโve tried tolerance breaks a lot, but my c-ptsd makes it too difficult to actually manage through without it most of the time, hoping to try again soon tho!
I also get insomnia. The thing that always gives me a good night's sleep is making cookies from d9 distillate. Can get 1ml pretty cheap on LB. If you're new to edibles I'd recommend you slowly work up the dosages. Like don't start with 1ml. Start with 100mg or something small. The syringes it comes in are marked. Taking more than you can handle can be a wee bit unpleasant. I expect RSO to be a good solution too but I've not tried it. I've read that's even more dose dependant than d9 where a bit too much is not fun. The one possible flaw in both of these is if you need to be up early the next day. As others have said a good kush would likely chill you out a bit. I find a strong hash more sedative than weed though. Good luck on your journey man. Hope you find a solution. Or still least fun searching for it.

I'd say number 1 - I've not used rizla for years but that moisture trap card is the best material for roach. I guess, in a way, Rizla had complete market control over the rolling paper sector here for years & would be an interesting study as they didn't make the products their own customers wanted / needed. And now you can get raw / ocb etc in every corner shop. I wonder how much of that would have happened had rizla just thought, "hey our customers love the green card. Let's give them more of it. Like 50 joints worth."

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.
For sure! It flew under the radar quite a bit and I think it's unique musk and it's face melting is why.
I donโt know if itโs the best, but my favourite strain is Sour Diesel. Iโve been a fan since I tried the East Coast cut that Grey Area used to sell in Amsterdam. Some of the best tasting weed Iโve ever had.

ESB - extra special bud , Old times #2 and S4 - Skunk 4 ways. S4 by far was the best I have ever had even to this day sadly it was a special made breed so will never have the oppurtunity to try it again :(

Absolutely loved that strain. I remember queuing for a long time as I was there for the cannabis cup (2006). Grey Areaโs queue was ridiculous on a normal day!

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them
It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ.
Amnesia haze almost always gets me to a place of euphoria that's unmatched by other strains. Would love to find a strain that's more euphoric but out of the roughly 20 strains I've tried so far nothing has been more uplifting than ami.

As far as dominant sativaโs goes,Iโve always had a smile when bopping home with a bit of Amnesia in my sky.

I'd go with either MAC by citizen stash or wedding crasher by BLKMRT both outstanding. I also had a bit of alien sin mint cookies by BLKT, I kid you not the bud was bluish instead of purple, all these strains were from a couple years ago when I was living in Canada.
Gotta be some LA Confidental I got from Dam, Grey Area back in 2010 now ๐ซ and Chocolope when I saw it.

The Helios is a proper sativa can smoke it all day and its a heady high with very little bodyload. Sounds like exactly what you need. Only other strains comparable are stuff like J1

Riley packs Neville Haze or Green Avengers gypsy haze I find no tiredness with either of these.

I usually stick to the Bruce Banger but fancied a change. The hash itself smells pretty fruity and skunky and is a soft crumbly blonde. In a spliff it is a nice clean focussed creative sativa high, followed by a warming gentle trippy indica body stone - keeping a clear mind. Not as buzzy or energetic as the Banger, but a a deep reflective creeper!

So far everything i tried, rock solid buds, dry, tasteless, cotton mouth and very low effects, this is from vendors with 10/10 reviews. Anyone have decent bud without breaking the bank for 3.5g of Cali that prob ain't Cali.

Totally know what you mean, I avoid anything with Cali in the description or has that odd pgr look, quite disappointing stuff. annoyingly I have also bought stuff that was labelled top shelf in the past but seriously lacked any decent high. Nevertheless - we live and learn (and rate accordingly!). the unintentional t break meant my next cheaper order from elsewhere totally put me on my ass ๐

pretty sure paying ยฃ120 half O, should be able to get decent smoke. nothing i had here is better than my local.
I dunno- thats about 150 bucks which is low for 14g of genuine quality Cali. I'd dump the import thing altogether and go with Green Cat or Dr.Greenthunb with that budget. The Spacemen have a lot of fans but I haven't tried them.

Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.
I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

White Widow
Stuff gives me the shakes and heart palpitations. Had it from different growers at different times, it just disagrees with me.
The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. Itโs always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

I was going so say mimosa, no matter how good it is, those orange terps remind me of burning rubber. Strange.
So glad Iโm not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.
I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the โmouth watering โ descriptions completely pass me byโฆoccasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyhoโฆ

I hear you, Iโd say Iโm less of a flavour hunter too and more just looking for ways to encourage variety. Iโve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. Iโm not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbhโฆ

I definitely taste different flavours. And Mimosa makes me sick ๐ Saying that I usually taste weed as it smells until Iโve smoked a couple spliffs. Then itโs hit or miss. Weird ๐ Thatโs the wonderful thing with Cannabis. The variety is astounding so everyone and their preferences are catered for ๐
Bang on, Iโm not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.
Hate the taste but iv yet to find a strain that is almost comparable to taking codine for feel good factor. Iโll smoke dry straw for that

Super silver haze. Smelled like cats piss and had no body high. Muscles felt restless and uncomfortable.
Way back I got some free seeds with the seeds I ordered. NYC diesel they were, so I grew them and was so disappointed, it tasted awful. Haven't really gone for diesel since. Have smoked loads of diesel cross.

Iโm with Mr Geeseeks about White Widow too. In small doses only. Same goes for AK47 and Jack Herer. Racy as f**k. Same with most Hazes for me. Although I do like Diesel if Iโm out and about, so itโs not all Sativa heavy hybrids.. Tends to leave me with a bit of a headache though sometimes.

I've not tried the Tropicana strains, but I do agree about the Tangies as I don't get on with the taste of them either.

At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

To be fair to the vendors on here I've not had any of the strains I've mentioned from anyone on LB. There's definitely more exciting strains to me available here so I'm unlikely to backtrack just to make sure I don't like it though.

Stardawg 100% was the only thing I could get hold of for the longest time and just absolutely sickened myself with it. Canโt stand it now would prefer literally anything else over it

Gotta agree, it's been Star Dawg for the last few years. Cheese and Blue Cheese before that. White Widow before that. Skunk before that if my history is correct.

Since 2017-18 dawg for sure, it's a good strain but I'm shocked it's stayed so prominent for so long. Of course a lot of people do avoid it now tho, not only because they're sick of it but because of the contaminated stuff that's been making the rounds. Stay safe out there!

Also I realise the market is flooded with dawg strains atm but the hands down best one of this Iโve tried was Milkbone a few yrs back - holy fuck, lovely and strong with pungent cookie flavours. So tasty it was unreal, definitely would try it again if it was available.

I can't get enough of the kushes at the moment! The Kosher is definitely a nice alternative to Green Cat's Pink Kush and MKK2020's OG Kush. If anyone has any other kush recommendations I am all ears.

It's the pound for pound champ on LB in my opinion, I've gone through a few ounces of it and can't wait for it to come back.
The Pink Kush isn't as gassy as MKK's OG but it's not a million miles off. If you like the OG you will like the Pink mate.

Pretty sure there arenโt many (if any) commercially available 100% indicas as they would have to be land race kushes although I could be wrong

I was curing cheese back in 07 before anyone even thought of making daft labels and logos and packs, before dinafem had probably even heard of cheese lmao. and this was the hardest hittin indica we could get and I still dont know a better one. Purple punch and ice cream cake havent really got nothing on it still. I personally think they havent tested it right because its the hardest hittin couch locking strain that I know to the point where you cant lift your arms. Thats a pure indica to me and thats exactly what cheese does so dont believe everything you read on the internet buddy. Theres no way its a hybrid load of bollacks.

I use Santander who have blocked me many times. The trick is the exchange you use. Uphold for example have a uk bank address set up in your name so you just transfer to that like any other account in your name. You can then convert GBP to whatever you like.

I think the reason it seems like a new thing is that combustion destroys everything except THC so when smoking that really is all there is. Itโs only with vaping that terpenes kick in at lower than combustion temperatures. There are about 400 terpenes in cannabis and about 20,000 in the plant world. So far only about a handful are genuinely known to have effects when vaping but more research is going on all the timeโฆ
Yeah, it's best to avoid the terps completely, who knows what it could be causing? Stick to CBC to thin down carts, if you can get it.
To be honest the only way you really get to taste the terpenes as they should be is to vape. They do burn off at very low temps. Whilst you do get flavour from combustion. Itโs kinda negligible.

No worries , if your in the UK you have probably missed the liberty cap season but depending on where you are wavys are still a possibility, try parks with woodchip beds , super markets with woodchip (especially the German ones ๐) look for wavy brown caps with a white stem that when you pinch it bruises blue. Look up Psilocybe cyanescens

For effects I havenโt found another orange or fruit strain that hits like a good Mimosa. I think that Sativa dominant combo gives a great mood elevation ๐คฉ

I think MAC is a great all rounder. Nice uplifting high, decent terps and quite moreish. If I had to choose a strain it'd probably be that one.
The only problem with it is the munchies. I put on about half a stone last time I had a crop in!

The first time I tried GSC it felt like I was weightlessly floating in a sea of pure calm. The most relaxed I've ever been on weed.

I would have to choose a banging UK cheese original or Luton blues cut , never smoked anything as tasty as them. i',m not a fan of ccells, regular carts i can use a safety pin and get a few days worth of sauce for papers.
and ccels work too well, they give huge drags but empty more quicker than carts.
using a safety pin on a ccel you cant really do well, using ther rubber seal works better.

Don't get me wrong if you like big drags and lots of smoke i'd recommend them for sure.

No, 3 small silver Rizlas stuck together in the traditional format (you can see the joins if you zoom in), then the skins folded to taper the distribution of bud and tobacco with the thin end at the left. You can get a slight cone with that and it keeps the skins flat too while you load it. I find kingsize too wide, so don't use them.

But, we used green Rizlas because of rolling in the dark corners of pubs/clubs, surely? Same as the red but with no notch on the corners to enable orientation to the baffled dark light rolling stoner. I advanced to silvers when I had more regular lighting and greens felt like rolling with actual paper. Silvers require practice, but it's worth persevering if people find them difficult. Don't think about the process much. Let your fingers feel the shape of what you're rolling. You should be able to hold it and look away while rolling, but checking before the tuck and lick, obviously. It's weird how easily the muscle memory kicked back in after 6 1/2 years of not skinning up once. Nearly at the end of the box I bought in January. I'm sure it's all fine.

I'm horrified at the idea of your historic roaches, my friend. I had mates who I'd have to add another roach to their roach so that the huge aperture didn't result in a burned throat. If it's too wide that you can poke it with anything thicker than the pokey bit from a Clipper/Swan, a matchstick, or the tine of a fork, then I feel that could be rolled better with practice. Hopefully. I had friends whose joints you just declined, and they'd been rolling for years.

I believe the technical classification is joints are pure and spliffs have tobacco in them. No doubt an American thing? If I call something a joint to people though it'll invariably have tobacco in it, unless I very specifically mention otherwise.

Definitely an American thing. The tobacco and cannabis mix is largely a European thing. We smoke blunts with tobacco wraps, but I donโt know anyone that puts ground tobacco in a joint, or spliff (I donโt think thereโs truly a difference in that terminology). I donโt mess with tobacco because I smoked newports for 15 years and Iโm too scared to tempt that devil again lol. But I have heard the mix is tasty

It's interesting to me that you're interested to learn mate. I've been friends with someone for 20+ years who I met online due to mutual interests. He lives in OK, and it's so strange that we're basically the same person separated by an ocean. He's never had hash, and doesn't smoke tobacco so isn't interested in it. None of his friends who smoke are either. They're almost completely disinterested when I mention that I've had some more and the effects so I've given up mentioning it.
That 'European' generalisation is probably sound here. So can you access hash in the US if you do go looking for it? Is it US produced? I thought it was insane when my mate told me that OK dispensaries can only legally sell things produced within the state, so they can't get any verified Cali. But then I think they had some weird thing about wine imports too that was different from any other state? He doesn't live near the panhandle...

There also too much expenses involved in importing hence the reason for the price bubble! Importing personal smoke is way too much different to large quantities and success rates differ too. Small packages as discussed in different topics are likely 99.99% to get through whereas large quantities are nowadays 50-70% success rate.
That Zoap must be an amazing flower all round if its priced ยฃ280.

This. I think it's a phenotype of the regular Mimosa, I've seen a couple things saying it's a cross between Blueberry OG and Mimosa but I am honestly not getting any blue terps off this. I'll get in touch with my supplier and confirm this when I next see them.
No purple hues or anything like I've had with other renditions of Mimosa in the past (we stocked a really dense, purple one but I felt it was cut a bit young, trichs looked underdeveloped but smoked lovely) but a really, zingy, fizzy citrusy kick. I can contest that this bud is a lovely daytime smoke, makes me feel incredibly wired and ready to get on with my day, however after finishing the whole gram in a joint, I was paralytic. Stuck in my chair, head rushing and tired as fuuuuck...
Not sure if my tiredness contributed but I slept like a fucking log, which makes a difference considering I'm a seasoned insomniac...

as the title suggests i want to try mushrooms but ive never used them before and im not quite sure which ones to take or how much i should take.
There is absolutely no way you can know the amount to take to have a perfectly good time. Everybody is different.
I have had friends that ate 100 dried liberty caps and it brought them to their knees.
I have had others that can take 2-300 and still hardly trip.
Personally, I find 40-50 a nice amount that I can really enjoy smoking weed with too.
Personally I grind them and tip into a tea bag which I then re tie. It gives you a smoother ascent and stops stomach issues from the fibrous material in the shrooms.
My only advice is go low first time. It's not the end of the world if it is underwhelming. Add 10 to it next time..or more if brave.
And it's not the end of the world if you take too much and it seems overwhelming either.. but I can tell you that it might well seem like it is if you do ๐ฌ
Take 30-40 libs first time (1-1.2g dried). Make sure you have no anxiety or anything playing on your mind and maximise the comfort of set and setting as much as possible.

where the best place to find them, i live near a cow field and i havent seen many shrooms this year
Rux is right. They are bell shaped with a nipple on top and blue/grayish brown gills. Nip at the stalk don't rip out the ground. To be found anywhere with grass but more abundant in fields with cow shit.

The end part made me laugh. They used to sell other types of shrooms in head shops years ago, growing in soil, as I think the picking technicality was to do with drying? So it was legal to pick them, but if they partially dried out on the way down the mountain then it was no longer cool? This may all be bollocks we were told and believed, but sounds plausible.

I was thinking maybe one of those multi layer dehydrators for fruit to fill with liberty caps, maybe? Been many years since I went picking but the fields had a crazy amount of shrooms in them. Just have to cross multiple fields on the top of a mountain to get them, and the weather almost always changes so you get soaked. Watch out for annoyed farmers/landowners.

Hello :) From what I understand it depends on what you hope to get from the experience. Some are better suited to fun with friends times, and others are better if you're looking for healing/introspection/figuring stuff out.
One of the most important things to factor in, beyond the physicalities is your 'set and setting'. Set is basically where your head's at, and where it's been for say the last few days. Best not to be on a major downer/ have stuff going on that might bring you down because from what I understand, mushrooms will amplify your current headspace. That said, apparently some mushrooms are more forgiving than others and harder to have a hard time on. I think b plus is an example of this.
'Setting', is your physical environment - is it nice and clean and tidy, with nothing in it that might stress you out. Are you with people you trust and whose energy you vibe with.
With larger doses - say 2 grams and above, it's best to have a sober person with you, to help you out if you start having a bad time. Talk sense into your tripping head, give cuddles and reassurance, and if it's a really big dose and you actually lose touch with reality - to make sure you don't prove that you really can fly, or that you are actually an apple and want to peel yourself ๐ฌ๐
I can personally recommend The funguy and Dr shroom as vendors on here, doubtless there are many more, but I know the two I mentioned will tell you what you need to know. Also there are descriptions of the different types, what they're good for etc.
Also reading the reviews gives you a good idea. The best is placing an order and then reading the reviews and getting excited :)

'Setting', is your physical environment - is it nice and clean and tidy, with nothing in it that might stress you out. Are you with people you trust and whose energy you vibe with.
With larger doses - say 2 grams and above, it's best to have a sober person with you, to help you out if you start having a bad time. Talk sense into your tripping head, give cuddles and reassurance, and if it's a really big dose and you actually lose touch with reality - to make sure you don't prove that you really can fly, or that you are actually an apple and want to peel yourself ๐ฌ๐
I can personally recommend The funguy and Dr shroom as vendors on here, doubtless there are many more, but I know the two I mentioned will tell you what you need to know. Also there are descriptions of the different types, what they're good for etc.
Also reading the reviews gives you a good idea. The best is placing an order and then reading the reviews and getting excited :)

I'd advise a half gram of mcKenna shrooms, they're not the strongest and a half gram should give you a nice fuzzy warm feeling in your belly.

I was never interested in psychedelics when I was younger. However, over the last few years Iโve been contemplating whether to give it ago. Would like to start on mushrooms and build my confidence to one day try its big sister! You know the one we all carry ๐
My advice with anything edible is 'go low and go slow'. Remember: You are signing a deal with the devil and riding whatever high you wind up getting.
I had an amazing trip the first time I tried mushrooms, but it soured about 3/4 of the way in. Still an overall positive experience, however, I was suuuuper relieved when the gnawing 'trip-gone-bad' anxiety went away sooner rather than later.

Superb advice. Probably inadvisable to double drop too, as a friend used to tell me. But he also used to take anything he'd find in a bag on the floor of a club, so what could possibly go wrong? He was always magnificent as a masked protester though.

All cubensis strains are roughly the same with just one or two standouts, strength will depend on the grow(er) more than the variety.
2g is about the minimum for a trippy effect up to 5g for more of an adventure.
Don't buy powder, the effective ingredient dwindles within a month or so.

Get the deep dive from psychonaughts. Take one drop. If you can handle more take more. LSD isnโt as deep as mushrooms in my experience. You donโt have the stomach issues or the struggle of eating them. Itโs well worth the ยฃ150 for 10 drops. Whatever you choose enjoy man, Embrace the trip never fight it
like all drugs, start off slow and go from there. I would say something like 0.25 grams would be considered a low dose.
