How to buy BTC in UK 2025

So i've been using uphold for several years now, transferring from my bank account with no issues, but now i cant successfully use the website via any payment - bank, debit card, credit card - none work. Apparently due to new security features being set up with UK banks.

Can anyone advise which website they use to buy BTC in the uk successfully with this nonsense going on?

Bittylicious don't require additional information until 2027. Send to a non-KYC wallet like Exodus.

I use Exodus too; most banks have been fine with this wallet.

Firstly, Monzo does allow most crypto payments in my experience. But if you're looking for a new place to buy crypto i used Exodus and you can buy BTC from there via MoonPay (Monzo allows) or Blockchain.

So get a wallet with Exodus and give that a shot!

Grab a wallet like blue wallet and then use any ramp services. Cheapest way I believe.

There are a few different methods.

This is how I transfer fiat to crypto.

I bank with one of the big 4

Transfer fiat to a Revolut account

Purchase USDT on Binance using Revolut card, don't use Revolut exchange.

Then either transfer to Exodus before sending to vendor or send direct to vendor from spot wallet in Binance.

There will be other methods, probably better, but I have never had an issue.

i was hoping for fewer steps than this, but thanks for the advice. Also, binance stopped accepting new uk customers so...Revolut does sound smart though.

I didn't know this. It seems they stopped taking new customers way back in 2023.

I've always used Bitpanda simply sending btc direct to LB. Never had an issue.

Thanks! signed up for Bitpanda but have to wait for a "24 hr cooldown period" thanks to nanny state. Hoping that will do the trick tomorrow.

What are the fees like, kraken feels high, bittylicious is at 7.6% fee as I'm typing this.

Variable depending upon traffic on the block chain. I usually pay about £2 on a £50 send.

How do we send via bitpanda app direct lp

In Transfers: click on Send.
Next to 'Name, host or wallet' click on +
Select: 'The wallet belongs to me'.
Select: 'Self-hosted wallet'.
Paste in LB wallet address.
Click Save wallet.
Transfer BTC
(Only use this wallet once as LB generates a new address for every order).

what to do when you try to stay loyal to one vendor but they never reply to any messages. and you’re never quite sure if your order has been sent or not. can only keep checking for so long. then it has to be so long. just hope they’ve posted my order?

Even when it’s not able to be disputed until 7th? I put a bad review because the order was short, then they asked me to change it so I did. But only if I received the missing items. The item quality is awful, never seen anything like it.

A quality based dispute requires an honest review with an image or video.

I have updated my review. And I have images of the sellers messages begging me to change it. I can take photos of the product, and a video of the mess in the puffco later on today. Don’t really want to use it again, it’s awful, and I’ll have to completely strip and clean my rig out

Hey guys, we are a new vendor here on littlebiggy.

We found this place by chance through reddit, but we have been vending for a long time now.

Just wondering if anyone has some advise as a new vendor here, how do you go about gaining attraction? Is there a dedicated place to post some giveaways/competitions ?

We are open to hear any feedback that can help us grow here on littlebiggy.

We have some amazing deals going on right now and will be adding more items but how does one reach the topics wall?
