Hi all,

Still quite new to littlebiggy.org, Recently placed 2 orders from 2 different vendors on the 6th both were sent out on the 9th because of the bank holiday, both were NDD Royal mail and have not arrived yet after 2 days.

Has anyone else experienced this? And still received their order 3+ days later?

Your vendor is probably dispatching on time, Royal Mail are probably the culprit. I order NDD often and it’s hardly ever Next Day Delivery lol. 2-3 business days is normal for my NDD.

Sorry to hear that. Have you asked for the tracking details from the vendors? I know some don't like to share but if you're concerned a parcel has gone missing they should at least be able to check on their end. Hope it works out for you.

I did that earlier today, one of the vendors msged me back and asked for my postcode, waiting for the next response about the tracking, so far has been very helpful and given me some advice about bitcoin wallets.

The other vendor have heard nothing from them.

I was expecting a parcel to arrive today myself and it didn't. I didn't pay for NDD, but this vendor usually delivers within 24 hours regardless, or at least has done so for me when I have bought from them previously. I'm expecting it will be here tomorrow, I'm running low so fingers crossed at this end too lol.

I wouldn't panic or anything mate, I am sure both will more than likely arrive tomorrow. Royal Mail can often be at fault in these situations, but as long as your order is tracked you should be all good. I hope the other vendor responds, good comms are crucial on here.

Pistache tends to be busy, so don't bother paying for next day, unless you're willing for a 50/50 on whether it WILL actually be next day. That said though, his quality is brilliant for the prices he puts it out at, but I've never had an issue with anything from Pistach, other than paying for next day, and not getting it. Not his fault, so I dont penalise when leaving reviews. It'll show up, but if he doesn't, you'll get your money back through transaxe/dispute.

Dynavap all day long with cotton bacon to keep the oven clean.

As polly says once you get it you get it.

Plus a little gos a long way when vaping hash than smoking it.

Only vape I've ever tried was the Pax and found it just never quite hit the same as smoking. I'd be interesting to hear how the dynavap compares.

Cheers Dazzler. Ended up watching a couple of the guys videos he's very watchable and a great demo of the vape it's deffo got me hyped for it, should be here Monday.
Yeah I feel like you've got to at least try the base product before getting into add ons. Although I'm super tempted to get an induction heater after seeing it in action. Definitely gonna be the first purchase I make.
I'm still a bit puzzled with the cotton bacon/hash combo though tbh. I've seen some vids of a sort of dual screen set up which seems pretty great but a bit of a faff with only the one chamber for switching from hash to bud. I can't find any videos on the cotton wrap method, is it just the bare minimum amount needed to wrap the hash or do you pack the chamber as much as possible?

So my Dynavap arrived Saturday afternoon, thought I would get my thoughts down after a couple days of messing with it. Note – only had a normal ass bic/clipper lighter so all my use has been with that so far;

First bowl – its probably been 3 or 4 years since I bought a pax and messed with it for a couple weeks before giving up, that’s been my only experience of vaping bud. The very first hit of the Dynavap took my back to the pax, a lovely flavourful hit of weed but not something that was ever going to be enough to get me stoned. Sort of like drinking water out of a cup that just had something else in it right before, you can taste it but its not the same as drinking it. Note – I also toyed with ghost like analogy here, feel free to insert if that suits you better.

Any pax comparisons were pretty much left behind at that point, every bowl got better and better and I also found a sort of slow creeping giggly high came over me after around the 5th. I’m pretty much like clockwork once I start smoking, especially on the weekend, without any sort of conscious effort I will smoke at 2hour intervals pretty much on the dot after the first. I went from 12 midday to 12 midnight without even thinking about a spliff probably having smoked half the amount of weed and zero tobacco, something I’ve tried and failed to cut down on multiple times in the past. Another added bonus was that bedtime spliff hit like the first one of the day.

So overall I felt like I got the same or maybe even slightly better experience using less product and cutting out tobacco.
The one minor inconvenience, it’s a bit faffy using the lighter which yeah obviously, hence why every post ever will tell you to use a torch or IH. I think initially my plan was test it out, if its good enough get a torch ordered and eventually switch to IH when I could justify the purchase. After Saturday I decided to skip a couple steps and just go straight to ordering the IH (went for the UFO @ £90 from vapefiend). Trust me the business man in me is questioning the justification of spending double the money you just spent on the thing for a thing to use the thing aha! There’s also a tinkerer with basically access to an entire scrap yard of goodies that’s screaming make one you idiot. I know me and I know I got to strike while the iron is hot with this thing otherwise it will find itself in the back of a drawer. I don’t want to learn one way of using it then switch to some half step before eventually using it the way I really want to. And with this warm weather here I really want that flexibility to take it out with me on a walk etc.

I’m gonna be one of these people with like 6 of these fuckers by next year aren’t I ahaha.

Going balls deep. Good pick on the IH. I had that and the Orion V2 and preferred the UFO. Far better.

using the IH is a whole new beast that you will get the hang of. I tend to double heat the first cycle. Before you start getting clouds. So heat to the click, Put on the magnet let it cool and go again but this time use it.

The flashing lights help big time using hash. As again it's all about what works for you and the type of hash that you are using.

With the torch I tend to start and click plus 3 seconds and work out from there.

Yeah that's exactly how I've been using the IH, skip the first cycle, 2 & 3 are hitting absolutely perfect after that maybe a 4th. That 1st cycle feels like a "new strain taster"

As a "im just gonna step out for a smoke guy" I still cant quite get over this getting high on the sofa business its just too much fun.

Did my first try of hash in it last night. Just ended up going for the weed sandwich as the cotton was about 10 steps too far away aha reckon I probably could have pushed it a bit further but I definitely felt it hit.

So I have attached a photo of the size of hash I use. Wrap it in cotton that’s next to it. You can see it in the oven and then the finished product. I would easy get 4/5 cycles in the glass with that bit. Give or take. No point stuffing it to the rim as you still need the air flow

Sorry hijacking in here too!! I want to thank you all esp. The Dazzler, SadHomie and JH for your guidance.

I was reading this last week and had been thinking about it for a while... So took the plunge and ordered up a DynavapM, butane triple jet, FMJ, some cotton bacon, and a bubbler, why not, let's go for it!

All arrived and by Saturday night was cleaned up and ready to use...

Verdict: F****n crackin wee device! I absolutely Love it!

Bowl 1: Dry herb - sweet clouds and great hit from it, very impressed.
Bowl 2: Dry herb - outside, i like smoking outside - i overheated it and it became basically a pipe! Great hits, but had incinerated the herb, AVB blackened. Prob not good for the device!
Bowl 3: Dry herb, getting the hang now. Back to toasted brown AVB.
Bowl 4: FMJ on and a little blowsworth of hash broken up lightly and wrapped in cotton bacon in to the oven - WOW WOW, great I'm vaping hash!! It works and getting great hits and clouds. This could get me off the tobacco!

I suppose from my experience the knack to work on is getting it just the right amount of heat to vaporize, but not burn?

The FMJ has never came back off, i thought it really kept the oven warm for longer, you could get way more hits in before the cool-down click, and found it fine for the herb too.

The only downside is my place looks like a crack den now lol

I feel like a whole new world has been opened up to me, so real thanks all who contributed to this thread!

I am a big fan of the FMJ myself, you can get away with heating roughly 1 - 2 sec past the click with the FMJ without combusting (varies as each cap has its own "personality")

However if you're using the FMJ with hash I sometimes push it about 5 sec past the click to get bigger hits...

Obviously a bit of trial and error involved, if you need help with owt give me a shout ✌️

Appreciate the advice about pushing it a few seconds further with the FMJ for hash. I was reluctant after the incineration incident to go too much past the first click.

I'm loving the dynavap appreciation here! We all have our own techniques and here is mine with hash and the FMJ (Apologies if this has already been mentioned, these threads can get quite onerous to navigate!)

I saw a great video by SneakyPete (I think? the bald/mustachioed dude in the US!) He packed his M to the brim with hash (no cotton!) but this method also works well with smaller amounts/ using cotton. Using the FMJ, 1st cycle heat to the click. Let it cool down (quicker on a magnet/metal surface). Immediately follow with 2nd cycle heat to 3 - 5 secs past click. Toke to hearts desire and keep repeating cycles until your preferred ABV finish. I tend to average around 4 - 6 heat cycles with about a dozen+ tokes.

The key is the 1st "primer" heat cycle to get things going.

What I like about this community is even if my comment is obvious/well known or somebody makes a "noob" enquiry, there isn't any condescending knob remarks. It's all about sharing something we all love for the better. :)

Sometimes mix it up with TI tip and low temp cap.

Mix of steams.

Depending on what I’m using depends on how and what I use.

Hard work this dyna experimenting.

I made sure I had a shit ton of shake / trim before even thinking about putting in some decent gear. Still do when it’s decent to spin out my good gear.

British bulldog has decent trim and a good price which is ideal for it.

Your method sounds about right as my first heat didn't really produce anything, so I was heating it, cooling it til the click, then heating again before puffing!

I'm sitting here in the office just itchin to get home and back at it!!

Not too much cotton. 1st heat cycle primer, quick cool down on metal. 2nd heat cycle +5secs, toke til click, 3rd heat cycle +5secs, toke til click, 4th etc. Works for me!

Also, I sometimes find with finger over airport, Slow (maybe slower than you think!) inhale tends to keep the heat level high with lots of clouds. Not sure if it is my imagination but the sloooow inhale seems to increase air pressure and heat in the cap? Maybe? To the point where sometimes I feel the need to feather the airport to bring the heat down to avoid combustion.

Try different strength inhales with airport
open/closed/feathered combinations. You may discover a good technique!

Too much bacon cotton dulls the experience for me. Sometimes it's not the hash that combusts but the cotton. I do like a clean oven but not obsessive about it. Jeez, I'm not some pervert who does unnatural things with their Dynavap... :)

Seriously though agree with everything you're saying.Crazy how something so small could make such a big change to a routine thats been set in stone for a few year now.

Feel like I leveled up last night in terms of how to use. Basically just took a much longer and slightly softer toke rather than treating it exactly like a spliff. Ended up with a crazy amount of smoke. 2 hour face down nap on the sofa, still felt great after waking up, stright up to bed, no bedtime spliff needed.

How are you finding the glass? That's definitely my next purchase. IH should be here when I finish work today and I can't wait to try it out.

It was Eddys Bubble/isolater hash that set me off, this stuff is too good for a joint, and i just have to get off the tobacco, so had to make a move into vaping to try it out. (Still haven't tried this in the dyna yet)

These biggy posts have REALLY helped me along the way to decide on how to begin.

I'm the same and still perfecting basic use, and improving each session. I find the jet lighter works fine, definitely would recommend the FMJ addon, esp. with the hash (£10 on vapefiend). There's a gold plated one too for £50 that TheDazzler likely has already in his collection ;)

I've not set the glass up yet, that is for this coming weekend! I'll definitely update you once I've tried out. I got a Glass Globe Bubbler set that can be found on a well known shopping site, but would likely have been better shopping around on a vape site and finding a more portable glass tool. Anyone any reccomendations?

It certainly won't help the look on my living room table if someone happens to walk in!

I really am enjoying it so much, as you sound like yourself from your knockout session! Can't wait to get home each night. Still also getting used to the new hit, high and flavours, definitely tasting and feeling a lot more than usual since all the goodies aren't being burnt off. Gonna keep ramping up the dyna use, and reducing the tobacco! Finally I can see a way after all these years...

I swap between the mini globe and little ripper both awesome with the BB9 steam.

That's the reason I started using it was to get out the habit of rolling and the conver belt of smoke roll repeat.

If it's flavour your after I would highly recommend the low temp cap BB9 combo

IH is ideal for when watching pish TV with the missies. She niver moaned but she's trying to watch something and there me using my not so quite jet torch lighter. I prefer the single flame and slow heat up. So I can see the eye rolling and the words. When the fuck you going to grow up. Your a grown ass man and taking bongs and using fucks knows. Fucking seems like you have a new one every week. Taking the 5th ha ha ha

🤣 I can picture the scene, firin up the jet holdin it to your 'crack pipe' for a hit while the missus is watchin her latest show.
The IH is for sure less likely to cause a stir.

In my hurried buying spree I ordered a 'Glass Globe Bubbler Complete Mega Globe Kit' (large of course like an eejit) you can see it on a well known shopping site for suckers, 'am.z.n'. I added a pic. Oh and I got an adaptor too.

It's coming out this weekend, even if I have to duct tape the dynavap to it, it'll be cooling my lovely clouds of goodness!

Never mind that, I'll be spinning the whole lot around in order to heat the cap lol.

Aye the mini one I got the dude glued a base on it. So unfortunately can’t use the rig.

Did come with the mouthpiece and whip.

I use the BB9 for all my glass but I’m sure sadhomie said the the fat mouthpiece works also.

But that’s another recommendation. One of the decent mouthpieces. I have the wood one.

The wood XL condenser was out of stock when I was looking.

Day 5 trapped in the Dynaverse reporting in…

Yeah the IH is everything I wanted it to be and more; quick, convenient….very unlikely to burn me if I take another face planting session. Seemed to use much less weed last night with it aswell, think that’s a combo of a more consistent heat along with better technique. Not sure if my tolerance is lowering a little aswell, the couple spliffs I have smoked all seem to have hit really hard, that tobacco is starting to taste utterly awful aswell after the vape.

How you getting on that front Tom? I’m smoking maybe a quarter of the tobacco I would normally.

I'd been on a roll but last night it all seemed to go backwards - I just couldn't heat it as well as I was getting it before, couldn't get the hits right at all 😞

Reading the latest comments from CatsBananas, Dazzler and SadHomie I've definitely got some more work to do refining my technique! I will persevere!

The tobacco front - very strangely and unexpectedly, without really even thinking about it, i'd say i'm smoking less than half the amount of tobacco that i was! I'm bloomin delighted about that, and just cannot believe it!

I've just dust left in my tobacco pouch, and i'm not gonna buy any more on the way home tonight, just see how it goes.

Jesus this thread, I tried catching up last night and couldn’t make sense.

I think it’s too diverse a thing to say this is the “best way” to use it but the IH is definitely the best way for me. I’m a clumsy, absent minded fucker when sober, never mind stoned.

I’ve seen people say they prefer the control the torch gives them to customise the sort of hit they want and I can totally see how there’s more room to play around with it. I’d prefer simple and consistent and then I’ll do my mad scientist bit in terms of what I put into the cap, a pinch of that strain, a dash of that hash.

I’ve been watching Kung Fu Panda this week so sage advice incoming; People think progress is a straight line of getting better and better when in reality its series of peaks and troughs that trends upwards over time. You aren’t making mistakes you’re building muscle memory. Every day you…..nahhh just get an IH mate they’re great aha.

Genuinely happy to hear that for you on the tobacco front! Hope it sticks.

How did you set your heater up? With the inserts.

Like everything dyna it’s what’s best for you. After much experimentation 💨😮‍💨 for me the best set up is the thick glass insert with one of the disks below.

I found with the thinner glass the bottom was a baw hair from combustion and the top still had plenty of life

Interesting, I had never even considered using those discs below, I assumed they were to basically shortened the tube so you were only heating the very end, I'll give this a try in a day or 2 see if I can see any diffrence.
As I say the first experiment that came to mind for me was to put the biggest one in there so the entire length of the cap is getting heated.

Yea the stone is totaly diffrent I found and you have to let it settle in. I find that previously with combustion it's like a slap in the face high and weed was weed. Yea different tastes but nothing like the dyna where you can taste it. Really taste it.

Again I found that using far less has a positive effect on how long my stash lasts. Big time on hash.

That's the best thing about dyna you can work out what works best for you to the way you pack the bowl to the order you do things in and what experience your looking for.

I'm very particular on my set up depending on what I want out of the experience and what I'm using.

Type of tip / type of cap and the way I use the torch and IH.

I'm not used the FMJ much but when I have I have found it best with the bubbler.

I tend to go for more cycles that trying to blast it in one.

Same as saidhomie. Just ask as there is no such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer that I was reminded of.

With the cotton bacon you honestly have quite a lot of leeway, I've gone from wrapping little nugs of hash in it to doing as a lil sandwich of hash in the middle.

There's no need to pack the chamber, beauty of the dyna is you can pack as much or little as you want. Just respect the click, having said that with hash you can go a few seconds over.

The dyna has a certain nauance to it, depending on where you heat the cap & with which kind of lighter / heat method can give wildly different results..

Single flame = Slowest heat but most precision, lower down on the cap the hotter it is / more vapor. Closer to the middle / top you can get better flavour

Triple flame = Fast heat up & great for outside. Less precision, but you can get consistently good hits regardless

Being awkward I quite like the dual flame, best of both worlds 😂

I've personally not got on too well with IH, prefer torch lighter method in the end. But that's not to say many people love them. Apologies haha rant over, just had some lovely hash in the dyna 🙄

Great plan 👌 I’ve not long sold an induction heater 🤦‍♂️ aye the heater is great once you get the hang of it again. I got 99% of my dyna gear 2nd hand from another forum. There are a few that have sales threads. Dynavap UK on a certain book 😏.

Like sadhomie said just put a small ball wrapped in cotton bacon and when done take it out and your oven is clean.

Crafty/Mighty can do it. I use a dosing capsule with cotton bacon and temp cranked to full. Hard hashes need to be teased with a lighter before loading in the capsule. Melts work just fine for me.

The tiny Vapman is amazing, but has a butane technique learning curve as does the DynavapM…good though once you find the sweet spot….👍

Get yourself some cotton bacon, wrap a lil hash in the cotton & vape away. You'll probably want to be using it at the higher temp range, but that varies on the hash & personal preference.

I know other biggas have had success using the mighty, which as far as I'm aware is very similar to the crafty??

For the best results you will want the higher temps possible with butane vapes. The likes of the Dynavap & Vapman are regarded as some of the best vapes for hash, I've no experience with the Vapman but would recommend the Dynavap to anyone that has a bit of patience 👌

Best way is to mix it with weed 1:1 in a grinder, then put in the freezer for 10 mins. Next grind as normal. You will end up with a powder which has uniformity which can be vaped very nicely

I actually do a 1:3 hash weed mix at the moment but have gone as much as 1:0.5 hash weed mix. The bud acts to increase the surface area for vaporization when the hash melts . This is what theorise anyway

Ive got a little Chinese knockoff Dynavap type ting that came with a extract attachment.
Tried a dot of pistachs finest, it ripped my head orf!
Getting temp right is pot luck though, we dont have no click!!

I was gonna bring this up, I've got sunday pencilled in for a cleaning session and should have a decent bit of AVB by then.
Anyone got any cleaning tips? Favourite ways they like to consume? I was thinking about making coffee with it. I've got a feeling I'm one of these people who isn't super effected by edibles but only ever tried in small amounts. I'm abit tempted to just use everything I got sunday morning and see if I can feel it.

In no particular order

AVB - Clean with a coffee press and make butter ect (or if you can't be arsed with all the hassle and don't mind eating bitter tasting I'm a celebrity get me out of here challenge, so I'm told). Just add it to something very fatty like a yogurt and smash it down ya lol

Reclaim

Most common way is full fat milk and simmer the condenser or if it's a BB9 the full steam. Depending on use I'm not sure at this point you would have loads.

Also as you said coffee works well, that I have tried. Made sure that it was a strong dark roast. True story and the rest of the morning was very interesting.

Just make sure you you tube cleaning. It's simple but it's making sure you don't fuck the cap by putting it in iso of the above

It's definitely a bit premature on the reclaim but I got the house to myself for a while Sunday so I'm looking forwards to giving it the full service package and seeing if I can get that edible high before a nice long afternoon session with the clean dynavap.

WEEKEND UPDATE - Dyna, Glass Bubbler and BB9 stem 😊

Well gentlemen, what a weekend! That is it, I am hooked!!

Dazzler, you saved me some time man with that BB9 recommendation, what a lovely bit of kit. Arrived Saturday, just in time!

Big cleaning session first for the dyna and the glass, a couple of photos for the biggas, then it was in with a small piece of hash, broken up a bit and wrapped with as little cotton bacon as I could get away with.

Used the primer method from SadHomie and Catsbananas, then as I took the first pull on the whip you could just see it all in action, the clouds moving through the device, the bubbles, the cool vapour coming through… Whooah man, I tell you, I could almost have wept when I first tasted the hash properly. Could not believe the flavour. As you say Dazzler, you can REALLY taste it now. Wow!! This lasted me 2.5 - 3 hours, going back every half hour or so to take a few hits. Only 2 more reloads after this did me the rest of the night!

The second reload I was getting more confident so made a little sandwich with some good bud and some of Eddys bubble hash fluffed up as the filling, and ooooh my goodness, what a taste, what a flavour, intense and delicious. And what a stoning to boot! Just what have I been doing all these years combusting??!! 😊

I didn't cough once using the bubbler. The dry herb in the normal dyna can catch me from time to time if I take too big a draw or get it wrong.

Just loving this set-up. So cool and the BB9 and dyna sticking out the top is like a wee chimney, and it lets out a little puff as you stop the exhale.

Again, really appreciate all the helpful comments. You’ve saved me a lot of time and fiddling about with your tips and I’m so grateful. And i'm enjoying so much learning about it, and experiencing the difference between this and smoking joints.

On the shopping list for next accessories is an IH, possibly another dynavap tip so I can have a blast of some bud while the hash is still in the other one. Then that MAD device, a debowler, different caps....oh man

I’m still far from an expert, sometimes get it just right, other times not so good, but we’ll get there! Tobacco use continuing to drop. Absolutely delighted!

Going to have a work on portability now, I normally sit out in the garden to smoke, see if I can get some good results here.

Like you said I’m not expert at all but the 3 most common ways that I know and used two

ISO in the tube of course you can’t do anything just clean and re use.

Simmer it in full fat milk 🥛 let it cool and use in a milkshake

Brew coffee. I used a strong dark roast and transferred it to a pot and placed the steam in and comes out clean 🧼 move coffee to cup add full fat milk or whatever and drink. Now not for one second am I saying it’s 5 star taste wise and I wanted to try it. Out of curiosity lol 😂

I've noticed even after one evenings use the wee glass balls are now all stuck together with the sticky residue, and stem quite a bit darker.

I think i'll be trying the coffee method, but I don't really like milk so will have to find another fatty substance to put in with it... Hmmm butter coffee 🤔

It’s now like ocd it has to be done a certain way.

I’m with you I like the two tip set up. One SS and one Ti

IH wise I had the Orion V2 and the UFO liked them both but the ufo better.

I’m the same with hash. Think about the amount of hash you used and how long it lasted you. Now think how much you put in a joint 🤔 it’s not rocket science. In this case less is definitely more.

Again taste wise. Big difference as you said you can actually taste the flavour

I’m glad the tobacco is taking a back seat.

Really enjoyed it man. From all the help last week, I figured I'd let the flame creep a little close to the tip and was overheating.

I've pulled it right back now so just the very tip of the jet is hitting the cap and getting much better results. It really is a learning process, and I'd a great night last night with just the basic dynavap puffing away.

For the hash it is a super saver, just to think how much hash has went up in smoke and drifted off from the tip of my joint!

The combustion is a nightmare, till the day I die I'll want a joint. The only hope is maybe one day I'll be able to say no to it.... and a satisfying alternative may make that possible.
