A bad week with weed?

Hey guys

I’ve been smoking and vaping weed for about 3 years now, no real meaningful breaks in that time other than a few days in Scotland. I have been prescribed medical cannabis but the process stresses me out more than it’s worth. I smoke around 1g per day, or a little more on weekends as I work for the government in a minor capacity (until Monday, my last day) so I can’t go as mad as I’d like.

This week, on Monday I had a really weird feeling. I felt I was going down a rollercoaster drop at fast speeds, then my hands felt really numb and then tingly. My mind seems to skip about a second of time each time the feeling of moving forward intensifies.

This then happened again on Tuesday evening, Wednesday day time (had smoked in the morning about 4/5 hours prior), and then reallllly intensely yesterday. Nothing today (4pm) yet but I haven’t hit the bong since last night.

I’ve read that this is a whitey, which my ignorance lead me to believe that term meant vomiting - something I’ve thankfully never done when smoking. Would you guys agree that this is accurate?

The concern is that this has happened 4 consecutive days now, and considering it’s never ever happened before it also makes me lean on the side that it could be unrelated.

Full disclosure: I’m a shameful vegan (worse than being a cop, I’ve been told 😂), so I probs have iron and b12 deficiencies but even when I take supplements and better balanced meals, it’s still happened.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

For me a Whitey is being sick or feeling sick and nearly passing out (you go really pale). Why not consume in a different way, vape or cartridge? I haven't used a bong for years but they always used to really mess me up.

I’m mostly a bong guy, have been since the beginning but it may be time to change it up!

I definitely get the faintness but it’s more similar to an out of body moment rather than faint. Like a head rush!

A b12 injection might be a better idea than b12 supplements - but you might not have b12 deficiency. Might be time for a blood test?
It doesn't sound like a typical reaction to cannabis to me, and if you hadn't had this in the 1000 and something days before this where you had smoked urb I would probably say you would be wise to at least consider that it might be unrelated.
It's probably nothing but best to know.

I'm a vegan too and I don't think that's a deficiency thing, sounds more like an anxiety thing to me, you mentioned leaving a job and the stress of trying to get medical access too, perhaps try some things to relieve anxiety, leave the weed alone for a day or two if you can then see how you feel.

Nice to see quite a few vegans in the topic and nobody kicking off lol (they aren't all like the ones you see on social media) i also smoke 1G a day every day, for 18 years now! never once had a symptom that you are describing!

i've been vegetarian for 18 years, more than half my life, and 5 years ago made a switch to a plant based diet (still have choccy biscuits though and bits of cake if my old dear makes one etc, omg such a hypocrite lol) had my first blood test in about 4 years last month and everything came back perfect as it should! i would highly advise a blood test if you can just to be absolutely sure, while it does sound a lot like a whitey it does also sound a bit like the potential side effects of a deficiency!

as a lot of bodybuilders say, you are what you absorb, and not all of us can get proper absorption from off the shelf supplements especially b12!

the fact the OP had to label himself as a 'shameful' vegan says it all, i feel his pain and it categorically proves our point, we're now supposed to be ashamed about valuing the life of sentient beings thanks to the media cherry picking all the absolute WORST possible examples of vegans and constantly plastering them all over the headlines

it's all part of their plan anyway and it's why i chose not to categorise myself into any of their labelling criteria anymore as all it's doing is creating further divides in our already utterly broken and fragmented society

In actuality there is nothing to be ashamed of - though I also use the same line when I tell people I’m from Essex! People make that whole “how can you tell there’s a vegan in the room? They’ll tell you first” joke, but honestly people here in England talk about food so fucking much 😂 we’re all just always hungry man I swear

You want any advice? How about I give you the best advice. Research Paul Saladino. You sound malnourished. With all due respect. Please, if you are not a small minded being then research him and his podcasts. He was a raw vegan at one point and he said it helped with some issues he had but didnt fully do it for him. He then went in the carnivore diet (which is quit expensive if u was to go at it full swing). However, I just believe in him. Hes been through everyday diet you can think of. The guy hasnt ate a vegetable for the past 6 years or some craziness and look at him. Serious bro, eat meat! Eat organs! avoid seed oils like the plague and try and avoid sugar an so forth. Easier said than done though sir! Very hard! 🤣🤣

I even thought to myself before I knew who Paul was that we as humans have survived and got to where we are to this day for thousands of years by hunting and eating meat.

I believe that meat is a necessary part of the human diet. I have always listened to my gut instinct. Paul isn’t just an influencer too. He is an M.D in psychiatry and cardiology I believe so he definitely knows what he is talking about.

He said he was a raw vegan at one point to try and help with other issues he had. It helped some things but not the eczema he suffered from. He also said his throat was quit sore and thyroid had become swollen from consuming raw vegetables and plants.

He tried the carnivore diet and look at this guy he hasn’t ate a vegetable in 5-6 years or something, I think we have been fed lies and I believe him, listen to your inner primal lion and satisfy its malnourished needs for real nutrients and get some 100% grass fed liver down your neck ;)

Just wanna step back in here and just put my opinion in. :)

Humans throughout their evolution and establishment have mostly been plant eaters, and it’s theorised we didn’t start eating meat until the ice age froze over the flora.

And even then we had to compromise further - name one other carnivorous being that has to cook the meat they eat. And to counter and a counter argument to that: if you want to use the “we can eat raw meat” argument - okay, do it. Do it and prove that we can.

Also, it’s hard to compare animals that can kill, rip apart, and eat raw flesh/meat to one dish that IF it’s not prepared properly you’re having Niagara Falls coming out from both ends.

Also, if you even have a slightly compromised immune system, steak tartare really will fuck you up.

It’s a good example, but in my view it’s flawed. It’s an exception to the rule for sure, however it will always come back down to the fact that true carnivores can eat this raw meat without any food hygiene prep. They can eat immediately after ripping the meat from the living(/immediately just killed) animals bone and eating it. There are still methods that have to be taken from us to make it manageable for our jaws, teeth, and stomachs to actually eat it.

I think the only exception to that are mountain lions who are known to use a bit of anti-bac on their paws during the prep stage.

However, that said, if I do find my health deteriorates in any way then I’m open to the idea of introducing meat back into my diet. I’m someone who is a believer in listening to your body, and giving it what it’s telling me it needs. If that’s ever meat, I won’t deny myself it. 🙏

Each to their own of course I am just a firm believer in that diet. I wish I could afford it, I cant afford to be running to some 100% grass fed meat and raw dairy farm. Very expensive to say the least to buy grass fed meat and to stick to it too. I reken I would transform into a power ranger if i stuck to that diet for a year.

My flatmate was cautioned by police for a package Royal Mail had flagged.

Does this now mean that I shouldn't order anything myself as the address is in someway now highlighted as suspect?

There is no offence committed by a buyer unless they are in physical possession of a controlled drug. The notice from police in a case like this is in effect an ‘advisory’. A ‘caution’ is a legal action that requires the accused to admit guilt.
It’s very doubtful that RM can effectively flag properties that have received an advisory. It’s just a pain in the arse for them.
Solution: only order small quantities (with excellent stealth). Nobody gives a shit about PUP (Personal Use By Post)…👍

Royal Mail won’t keep tabs on mail going to any address. The vendor mustn’t of packaged it well enough. There is no security checks other than the employees suspecting packages (smell or visual) Continue ordering and you will be fine 😎 💨

I've read a few people say on here they've had letters or a knock and still carried on ordering.

As long as the vendor is trusted and has good stealth I don't think it'll be a problem to be honest. Standard mail maybe the way to go rather than tracked then there's always plausible deniability should the pack be picked up.

Saying that, again, as long as the vendors stealth is good there shouldn't be a problem. There's millions of packs fly through royal mail. It's gotta be stinking and blatantly obvious what's inside for someone to pick one pack out of the mass of mail!

Surely the point about SD is that RM guarantees that it’s going to get to you. It doesn’t get to just shrug its shoulders and say “pfffff…these things ‘appen guvnor, shit ain’t it?”…it has to find out what happened to your package.
This doesn’t mean they’ve never lost one but they know from the tracking when it is “out for delivery”. How many “out for deliveries “ can a Postie “lose” before the suspicion falls on him? “Fuck all!” according to my Postie.

As far as the bank is concerned your just transferring fiat from one account in your name to another.
