If you feel happier when you smoke, then keep doing it. If you feel better when you don't, then knock it on the head.
Your nipper needs you at your very best, and your happiest.
Only you can judge that one buddy. I can tell you though that little ones need happiness.
Having lost a parent myself I feel your pain, but you need to do whatever you can for those issues not to affect your kid.
I'm sure your Dad would want you to be as proud and best a parent as you can be. In his honour.
Most important thing is that you stay strong. Your kid needs it.
Don't be afraid to ask for professional help by seeing your GP who can refer you.
There are a lot of people out there that can give you help.
