This is a weird question, but for the ladt couple of months I seem to be either very sensitive to specific smells or am experiencing a change in the way I smell stuff. I know this can happen after Covid but I haven’t had it, at least not that I know of.

I first noticed it when I got some kali mist from a very reputable vendor, and now i taste the same in other strains. It’s almost like a pine disinfectant taste and smell. Weird thing is i get the same taste if I drink a Coke and i notice the same smell at other times, often in a cafe or bar, which I assume is a cleaning product. Its kind of freaking me out tbh. Its like i all of a sudden am really sensitive to this specific smell. At the same time im getting a weird taste off red wine and beers. Has anybody experienced this ever. Have I just had covid and not known about it?!??

I’ve had covid about five times over the last 4 years, my sense of smell has really deteriorated so I get certain smells almost like a metallic smell at some times, really weird.
I have difficulty smelling ‘light’ or delicate scents, even some strong smells unless it’s something being cooked right under my nose.
I’ve got used to it now but do wonder if it will ever go back to ‘normal’?

That's pretty normal for all hash other than the very cleanest produced under newfangled processes. It was very strong, back in the day, and now it's quite mild.

Maybe because you've recognised this smell you now notice when similar things trigger the same receptors that that hashy disinfectant smell did? Do your beers smell more like weed to you by any chance?

Sounds to me like parosmia or phantosmia.
The former is common from covid infection. I got this in 2020 and still not 100% smell or tasys to this day. Quite dulled and still some distortion. At one point all citrus smelled and tasted like pine disinfectant.
If the latter it might be something you want to take more seriously.

Ah! This is pretty much what I’m smelling everywhere. Hoppy beer tastes like crap, wine is also tastes kind of vinegary. Thanks for all the info guys. Really appreciate it!

Ffs, I wonder if my sense of smell will ever repair or is that it for life?
To be fair I can’t really complain hundreds of thousands of other poor souls weren’t as lucky as me…. 😩

Is it normal for this vendor to ignore messages?

Relatively new to LB so idk how things go. Bought some product from TGT yesterday at around 3pm, paid $15 for NDD. Item has still not been sent and I haven't had a response to a few messages. Totally understand that there's RM strikes but would be nice to have some communication from vendor.
Anyone know if this vendor has disappeared or something?

They are one of the bigger vendor s so can take a little longer to respond. Did you order after their cut off?

Ah ok I see. Yes I ordered at around 3pm, their page says cut off is 9pm. Unless I've misunderstood.
I'm not annoyed just concerned, new to the site and don't know what to expect. Thanks for the reponse.

When I first started, packages came fine.

Now, every second package is either taking a long time or not coming.

I have tried switching vendors. Now, even trusted vendors that I know, do it quick are taking ages.

I did have one package where the stealth failed somewhat, but the postie didn't seem to notice.

Never had a knock or a letter.
