Hi people of lb Iβm here asking your help on how and what items would be best to help pain relief
I found little biggy last august and prior to that all I knew was roll and smoke but since then I have realised there is much to to weed then that lots of uses types and ways to consume the stuff
My mum is someone who struggles with severe arithritis and fibromyalgia both of which are illness that are common in older women but recently her pain has gotten much worse and the hospital prescribed meds can only do so much before they turn her into a zombie so I thought there could be a alternative way to medicate her through thc
I have looked at some edibles ,canna caps and vapes. I think that vapes would be good as Iβve tried dr Terpys before that have worked wonderful with me but I would never trust stuff like that with my mum as it could have adverse effects I was looking into edibles but wouldnβt know where to look and how to dose I currently have some on order from radar breader but am not too sure about them as I saw a thread earlier claiming his vapes were fake.
It would be helpful if anyone had any reccomendations on what to try and how to dose so she can still function normally while in less pain I am open to any ideas or help from you guys so feel free to ask any questions or leave any suggestions

Id recommend a tincture . Apply a small amount under the tongue and go from there . sativa for day use and indica for night time use . Be carefull these things are strong . But much better than legal drugs the doctors try and push .

If its troubles with dosing,I have some shatter capsules at 10mg each and come in a pack of 20. These are broad spectrum (no cbd).
Some vendors have 'wellness oil' (full spectrum) which comes in bottles, each drop from the pipette would have (x) amount thc per drop, so you could dose that way.
Or as others have suggested, RSO. But maybe mix with something to make it easier to measure out.

Kratom for pain and low dose naltrexone is worth looking at as well if the arthritis is autoimmune.

I have a family member with the same issues, I make them a 10mg/ml cbd salve, I put thyme, peppermint, and lavender essential oils in too. They say it helps a lot. They used to wake with the pain 3-4 times a night, now they can sleep right through & they were able to drastically cut back on the stuff the doctor was prescribing.
If you want to be sure about edibles just buy some shake & make them yourself, plenty of recipes out there, and it will cost you WAY less than buying ready made edibles. You could find a forum for people dealing with those conditions using edibles and ask on there for recipes and dosage.

30mg edibles I d start at then up 10mg a week to 60mg stay at that and if your mum is probably still in pain try 80 mg then 100mg it may bring on sleep but pain should of gone , I m not a doctor so take it easy

Book recommendation, that is a good idea!! An awesome book is The Dice Man by Luke Reinheart. It is about a guy who after a gaming evening, playing cards and dice with his friends then starts to give the options to the dice, and if the numbers come up he must complete that option. Great book, that caused me to carry dice for many years, in case I needed inspiration when making choices!
The Culture series by Ian M Banks. Start with Consider Phlebus, my personal favourite of the series is possibly Excession but they're all brilliant. Incredible world building and gripping storylines make for top drawer SciFi.
I've been reading The Similarillion, the book set at the dawn of the universes of J.R.R. Tolkein. A bit confusing to begin with but damn it's a brilliant book. It explains the structuring of the gods in their universe. Honestly give it a read if fantasy is your thing.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. a great book with arguably the best book to movie adaptation ever. Johnny Depp performed so well as Raul Duke

Seen multiple people selling those βThe1010Boysβ vapes, looked into them and supposedly they are a fake brand that doesnβt even exist in California. Went down the rabbit hole and apparently the majority of UK THC vapes and cartridges are spice or random drugs. Proof can be found at Wedinos; https://www.wedinos.org/
If you search for bud on Wedinos you canβt find a single test thatβs came back for anything other than THC, CBD etc. On the other hand many of the βTHC vapesβ and βediblesβ test positive for a wide range of drugs/chemicals. My question is why isnβt it seen as mandatory for vendors to send a sample of their vapes to Wedinos considering all of this + itβs free and anonymous.

When we buy illegal drugs we take a leap of faith. A lab report on LB refers to that sample and there is no way of knowing that what you receive has any relation to that sample. Itβs a leap of faith.

Beyond the vendor testing his vapes, you the customer can send a small sample away free of charge and leave a review with the results. Don't think it's right to say "Ah well it's illegal its your own risk" when peoples lives are literally at risk. Idk about you but i dont fancy inhaling drugs with names like MDMB-4en-PINACA and ADB-BUTINACA lmao

Definitely fake lol didnβt want to be the first to say n rain on someoneβs parade but itβs a simple fix for biggas google the name of the vape with the word emptyβs included and you will find your answer failing that if you bought one already n the QR doesnβt take you to that pacific item then itβs a dud. My advice is buy a vendor made vape as most quality vendors here have customers in mind and make quality vapes that are free from nasty stuff. MJ is the best by the looks of things
Some of the posts on these literally claim to be USA import it's embarassing lol wouldn't smoke any vapes from here tbh unless it's proven tested or imported direct from Sayno2drugs etc. Much easier to just make your own liquid from distillate from quality vendors. The chemicals in some of these tests on Wedinos surely snip literal years off your life.

We have cartridges that are specifically tested for any other drug, heavy metals or pesticides.
Usually if someone is getting their goods from a reputable source, they should be able to get some lab testing done, as its known that vapes in usa contain all sorts of things.

The trouble is any vendor could send a sample that was THC for the wedinos test and then send a different product out. Test Borg is a good way around this and I donβt recall seeing a single one come back as anything dodgy from here yet. That being said if you look at the results on wedinos, the majority of vapes coming back with synthetic cannabinoids are the vape liquid style ones often with bright colours added, rather than the thick distillate style carts on here, which nearly always come back as THC. Additionally I have a friend who can be drug tested and has been experimenting with home tests to see how quickly THC from carts would leave their system and these definitely show carts at least contain THC. I would like to see more reviewers sending carts to wedinos but I think some of the results arenβt quite right, or things get mixed up when they publish them so do take with a pinch of salt.
i personally only buy from DrExtracts, that's who I trust. though I might send off one of my carts once it's near empty, but i trust him fully.

i think both of you polly and budz have really good points on the matter wether its worth arguing about, i dont know. i agree with polly its a leap of faith, if you arent willing to take it stick to flower and hash simple as. but i think we all hope the top vendors are legit

I have tried blueberry, gushers, biscotti, gelato. I find the gushers and biscotti to be most weed like. These are made with Cannabis derived terpenoids from cali according to the vendor.

The lemon cherry gelato is almost as tasty as the cherry runtz but it's a lot smoother smoke, and the peach punch is very creamy.
Apart from the gelato i'd say the Peach is one of the most weed like, lemon cherry is weed like also, still not tried them all tho.π
