Hi Polly does really put ît in perspective. They always jump to the conclusion that I’m saying that Apollo was faked, there were no missions, no rockets, no orbiting the earth, no re-entry, no amazing astronauts, no NASA etc etc where what I’m saying is that there were all those things and they were incredible.
But we had to win the space race and we could not risk losing the astronauts in a botched landing. It couldn’t be done safely, it arguably still can’t, so we did what we had to do. To launch Apollo into orbit, separate the sections, remain in orbit and return safely to earth in the 60’s is simply amazing. But we couldn’t walk on the moon.
We got carried away with little cars and golf clubs but viewers ratings continued to fall and in true Hollywood style it got cancelled.
Man’s greatest achievement is Man’s greatest lie and that isn’t an easy thing for people to accept and they don’t need to.
I read recently that almost 70% of Americans after being shown the ‘case against’ believe that the moon landings “probably didn’t happen” but 98% of those people said they hoped it will never be revealed.
