Help please - Kraken

Hi people, new Bigga here. I have placed my first ever order after reading up people comments here on LB and learning to navigate.I’m completely new to this bitcoin stuff. I’ve got kraken as my exchange and wallet and have made my first LB purchase for around $40 by sending the coin to the address provided by the vendor. Everything seems fine on LB, order says paid and sent. However when I try and buy more bitcoin on Kraken it says “transaction unsuccessful, please contact customer services” Should I be worried? Should I contact them?
Would kraken have a problem with me sending bitcoin to the transaxe address provided by LB vendor?
Any advice appreciated :)

Wow! that’s some serious paranoia there amigo! 😂😂
You can be very very assured that your exchange knows nothing of the nature of your transaction! That’s why we are in crypto.Transaxe also generates a new btc address for every buy.
Whatever reason they want you to contact them it will not be anything connected to LB 👍👍👍

*Update* I spoke to Kraken and they asked me to do more checks. So I sent them a picture holding a piece of paper and my id with agreeing to terms etc on the paper. Woke up this morning and they said they are closing my account? So I think will try mycelium :)

Coinpass is a UK company are responsible and work with UK banks in my experience.
You'll still need to provide ID tho.

If questioned why your buying with exchanges I'd try saying
Your investing in btc for a long term investment and just buying small amounts when you can afford it from your day job. You plan to buy on exchange and transfer to your own cold storage wallet for 3 years time(even if not) this will suggest your responsible and aware of the risks etc and not laundering money or using it for illicit purposes which should tick any box they wish to cover.

No experience with apple so can't recommend a wallet with them.

As above, like an idiot I made an order without being logged in, how would I go about checking the status of these orders and marking them as received etc so sellers can receive the escrow payment? Thanks

The vendor will have received the order but you should contact them via Chat for a confirmation. It won’t appear on your order page so you will only be able to follow it through direct with the seller 👍

I have done the same. But did not realise this would be an issue, just thought there would be less of an audit trail to follow

There WILL be less of an audit trail but that’s the the one that helps you- it shows when your order was sent, allows you to raise a dispute against the order if not received and to review the product when it is….
