Vendor has been in touch to offer 50% reship. Have tried to be civil / polite. Vendor has (in a roundabout way) kinda accused me of trying to pull a fast one.
Dont really wish to communicate further.

Cannot really accept 50%, as the vendor has subsequently sold the item at nearly half the price I paid.

Escrow are normally pretty quick but get the sellers story as well so it can depend how long it takes the seller to respond.
Normally where a seller insists they sent a package and a buyer insists they never got it then a 50% reship/refund is the likely outcome.
In your case though this is aggravated by the price reduction which is very suspicious and a 50% payout is a win/win for the seller and I don’t see why you should put up with it.
If it’s not resolved to your satisfaction you should ‘out’ the seller IMO.

Prices change for many reasons, if it seemed okay on the day then it was.

How would you feel if the same seller marked the item as sent on 16th Aug, but later advised (only when prompted) that the item actually wasnt sent until nearly a week later 22nd Aug ??

The send thing is if they don't mark as sent within 3 days I think it refunds the purchase or something.
