Empty envelope, SCAM or genuine mistake?

Made many orders on LB and more than happy with the site and community.

Recently ordered from a notorious seller for the first time, who only ships using RM 1st Class.

I received an empty envelope.

What should I do next?

if many people experience the same, we should not allow such sellers on LB. Not exposing the seller yet, since it could be a genuine mistake.

Unrelated to LB, but I've seen a few people have been getting first class letters with an empty a4 sheet of paper in recently. Its suspected to be a review scam, so it could also be this.

Ummm, contacting them to say I'd received an empty envelope and am confused would be my instant action on receiving this. Have you done that? They can give you a lot more useful input than we can. I've never encountered this ever, but sometimes people have forgotten to include things which have then been sent when I've mentioned it. A lot of people seem to get high on their own supply, so always think stoner human error first before scam.

From our personal experience, there was one occasion where a batch of 5 orders sent via first class had been opened by the postman that collected them from the post box. He stole all the contents then stuck a big cello tape to close the envelope lid and sent them on their way to be delivered. 5 customers received an empty envelope and we quickly figured out what happened.

It’s extremely rare but it CAN happen.

Was the envelope tampered with? I know one or two that have had the same. It turned out that the postman wasn't playing ball.

Why, all of a sudden, do I have lots of "Access restrictions" on vendors and their products?? Are they now gone? Can somebody fill me in please..?

There was Technical issues over the weekend where a lot of vendors were hacked and had their payment tokens messed with.
Apparently its fixed now but some vendors dont work over the weekends so they will be walking into it today.

Thanks BOW13. It is Gentleman Dealers I can't seem to get hold of. Just "access restricted", but lots are missing from menu. Will try again in few days. Bloody hackers! Thanks again.

The gents had there account taken over by the hackers and locked out. LB are on it trying to sort it but until then they can't sign in.

Their running off another account named TGD for message etc for the time being though.

I had the same with one of my OG vendors Popeye'z.
Said "access restricted" so thought I was blocked or something. I hope this gets sorted out for everyone. I can only imagine the stress all of this has caused vendors x

I am experiencing that issue with an order I've placed. The vendor has disappeared and I have paid but cannot message. I hope this is sorted swiftly

Thank you. There is no dispute button showing so as I have not heard anything I have cancelled. Let's see what happens. Very disappointing as this is the first issue ever. This was my first attempt with this vendor who seemed reliable by others.
