Don't panic, it will all go through in time. As long as your friend sent the payment to the correct wallet address it will go through. Occasionally network congestion can delay crypto payments.
If you're using Coinbase that often takes a while to update the balance, often I have an order marked as paid on LB but the balance is still showing as full on Coinbase.
