Hey Jess, I’ve had a card a year or so now - the application was pretty easy, just a few online bits to fill out and take a selfie for the card and then send proof of eligible condition. Took a few weeks to arrive. There are mixed reviews on whether they’re any good - I.e it’s not a legal prescription etc. I’ve never had to use mine but it’s a bit of peace of mind and better than not having one in my opinion as although it doesn’t make it legal I imagine it would certainly sway things (for small amounts) in your favour if you got a knock at the door.

You can buy an small extractor fan and a carbon filter and just smoke into that..

Same thing growers use to filter the smell etc..

In the last year, in a successful attempt at giving up the baccy, I’ve gone from spliffs to just edibles/RSO and now I’ve committed to the dry herb vape after hearing everyone who has one not shut up about it.

Got the XMAX V3 pro. Been on it about a week. Proper decent at about £70. Similar to the carts you get more of a head high but unlike the carts you can eat the vaped bud after and get the rest of the THC and the majority of the CBN which is left in it in higher quantities as it burns at the higher temp.

Bit fiddlier than carts and the smell of the bud to consider but it smells way less and still mega discreet when you’ve got a system going and got the knack of using it.

Still learning about vaping and I’m enjoying the process, starting to think it’s the way to go. Think I might become one of the preachy converted. In fact I think I may have already.

That and if you fold and buy a 20 deck or a pouch, dropkick it in to the nearest body of water as soon as your thinking faculties kick back in, don’t finish the pack.

They’re the top tips from me. NHS smoke free is actually really good and you can get months of patches or inhalers for free too, they’re a well funded and underused resource thats really worth checking out. If you only let yourself get your nicotine from an inhaler you soon get fed up of em.
