TL;DR - was sent strawberry cough for free due to leaving a comment on a post, good little vape, looks nice, small, smooth, packs a punch, mellow high that’s not too heavy, super discreet, perfect for out the house use, and seems like decent quality live resin. However, not the longest legs on it, micro usb charging, isn’t a licensed product as some people may assume, and would get a heavier hitting strain next time.

Sooo i left a comment on a new product post by uk dispensary and since another bigga and I were the first 2 people to comment, we were sent this item completely for free on the condition we leave a review, which i was very happy to do and was feeling very lucky about 😊

As a quick disclaimer as well, I can imagine getting sent something for free to review might be frowned upon as it could seem incentivised, or there’s even the possibility i was sent a more premium product to make it sound better than it is on the review. I’m not saying this is the case here at all, but just think it’s good to mention as i’ve never been sent anything for free like this before and i’m not sure if it’s seen as a bad thing to do on here. Anyhoo, this is just my unbiased opinion on the product i was sent and i’ll say all the things i do and don’t like about it.

The vape arrived quickly and had good stealth, it came in a padded envelope and inside a small packwood x runts box and fit through the letter box. Just a quick note on the vape as well, this isn’t a packwood x runts product, it’s an empty vape that the vendor buys that’s then filled with the vendors own live resin liquid. Think some people might assume it’s a packwood x runts licensed product.

i was sent strawberry cough which to be perfectly honest i didn’t think i’d enjoy that much, it’s meant to be a very uplifting and energising strain and i tend to stay away from these as I feel like these kind of strains don’t really agree with the ol’ adhd n anxiety, so i assumed this one probably wouldn’t agree with me but ofc i was happy to give it a go.

The vape itself is the size of a small lighter, super discreet and you can take it out and about with you no problem. It’s got a micro usb charger and the battery life is okay, not amazing but it doesn’t run out quickly or anything. The liquids thick but got some movement to it, if you turn it upside down it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to completely move around. Really really like the look, the size, and the usability of this vape, super convenient and easy to use. Only thing i’d like is usb c charging rather than micro usb.

The hit on this is really smooth and the taste is there as well, it’s a earthy herby piney strawberry flavour with a hint of this smell i can’t quite put my finger on, only way i can describe it is a slight medicine like smell kinda like how a pharmacy smells. Whatever it is, it’s not off putting and the main taste and smell is herby earthy strawberry and I’m enjoying it👌there’s no clogging or resistance to the hit and I’m pretty confident it is live resin in there as well, pure distillate tends to give me a headache and no headaches here for me :)

Strawberry cough by name but not by nature… it was smooth on the inhale and didn’t make me cough. It did have the classic lung and chest expanding feeling after a big hit, and some terp tickles on the big bits too, but that happens any time i take a big hit on carts and vapes, so nothing new there and was actually a lot smoother than i thought it would be. Overall, haven’t got any complaints on the draw and the taste here.

The high
I fee high not stoned on this, if that makes sense to anyone 😂 no sedation or feeling mongy/spaced out or tired. I can still think straight and focus on things and feel mentally sharp, without that couch lock or tiredness or munchies surprisingly. But that being said it definitely packs a punch and i still feel quite high after a sesh on it, it just doesn’t put you on your arse.

Thankfully, it doesn’t give me a rise in anxiety, but I wouldn’t say it’s calming either, but i’ll take that as i thought it would definitely make it worse. Nice subtle body high on this as well, body feels relaxed, kinda like ive had a lil massage all over, but nothing too much, just a nice little background body high.

Doesn’t have the longest legs on it for me and wears off pretty quickly, no matter how much I have I feel back to normal within an hour. I’d say a normal sesh on it for me is around 7 or 8 hits and then a big one would be 10+, and on the heavier sessions it’s just a more intense high rather than a longer one and I feel back to normal in the same amount of time as the smaller session.

I’d say it’s perfect for daytime use when you’re out and about, which is exactly what i use vapes for tbh. This probably isn’t the one for you if you’re wanting something before bed that’s gonna help you sleep through the night kind of thing. The other statins might be good for that but the strawberry cough isn’t a heavy hitter for me.

The high kind of tapers off into a mellow background high and I can function pretty well on it, so yeah think this is def one for all the day time tokers or people who need something easy to use, convenient, and discreet when you’re out the house and don’t wanna get too blasted.

Overall I think it’s a solid product, and improvements for me would be usb c charging, and also having longer legs on the high, I find myself reaching for it for a top up more often than i’d like, so i’m blasting through it pretty quickly.

as open and honest as i can’t with my review, but i’m just an unknown entity on the internet so i appreciate some biggaz may not trust it.

If it’s worth anything, from trying the product i’m going to buy one for myself. It’ll be a different strain, probably the skywalker og as i really enjoy that strain and i think it’ll give me the more heavy hitting high i’m
after. I think most my qualms with the product are more about the strain over anything else and I was honestly quite impressed with this little thing.

For this commentary I’m going to quickly talk about this across 3 categories that mostly matter to me when looking at these products and spending coin *shakes purse*

These are taste / effects / duration.

Cool.

Taste
Smooth and subtle with the sweetness. With 0 resistance on the draw, the hits on this tiny little thing are easy. No coughing. None of that weird throat tickle shit. I’ve been dabbing for a little while now so my view point due to bias is probably skewed. This is live resin though. And I gotta say, its delicious. Good blend with the terps in my humble opinion. Nothing distracting on the palette with the exhale. Therefore taste wise it gets a thumbs up from me.

Effects
My tolerance is pretty high. But I can say this thing knocks.. Your mileage will vary in terms of how many tokes you need to get you where you need to be obviously, but the potency is there. So far this has successfully been integrated into my daily rotation though. Average of 6 - 8 hits for me. Then I’m chilling. Nothing overwhelming but definitely an impact on the cerebral with a mellow body feel.

Duration
This category is all about how long this thing lasts. Both high wise and device wise. Carts usually have that hard stop for me round the 45 min mark. To be fair though that is the difference between a distillate and a resin concoction.

This has me good for just short an hour and a half. Longevity wise, at the time of writing I’ve got about half a tank left. For perspective I’ve been hitting it for about 5 days and took it with me on a night out in London. The ability to see how much you got alongside being able to charge, also gets a thumbs up from me. I don't like having to guess.

Whether or not you want to cop this, is entirely down to you. If you like them discreet on the go hits I assume you are contemplating it. For the introductory cost right now and having investigated a fair few carts and the odd disposable on here - I’d say this is worth it. Especially if the fees are ok.
