Hi all sorry for long post lol
I might be a bit paranoid now but I had a birthday card arrive this year in a plastic bag stating "sorry your post arrived in this way". It has clearly been opened, but luckily it was a cheque inside so they couldn't steal it.
Two of my go to vendors use letterbox sized cardboard boxes, then wrapped in a black mail bag. I'd say it's pretty hard for a postman to open that and get away with it.
However two of my other favourite vendors both just use padded envelopes, one even with handwritten labels (it's hash so it's a bit harder to tell whats inside, and they do vacuum seal of course)
I'm currently waiting for something that hasn't turned up and it just makes me really nervous that my postman (we got a new one last week) or someone at a DO/MC opened my envelope, stole the goods and destroyed the envelope.
I heard from an ex postman that dodgy colleagues will target and open handwritten envelopes in the hopes of getting some birthday cash or other treats like we get.
What has your experience been receiving handwritten label orders in padded envelopes?
