I have been ill in the week running up to Christmas, nursery bug caught from my dearest daughter 🙈 . I have asthma and this illness came with a Chesty cough which has now turned into a chest infection . Not to worry my body tends to have quite a good immune system, I don't get ill much and when I do I can fight things off pretty well . Im a healthy young man. however not this time .

On 23rd Dec I woke up with a serious cough which in turn started to bring on my asthma which is normally super well controlled .

Now normally a few puffs of my inhaler does the trick and I'm back on top again but this cough rendered my inhalers useless. So now I'm panting and wheezing , basically struggling to catch my breath or even talk.

On the evening of 23rd my wife was forced to call an ambulance who gave me salbutamol and something else to clear my airway which it did to a certain extent but I still felt like my lung capacity was severely reduced and I felt like there was stuff stuck on my chest which I could not shift.

Paramedics were satisfied that the weeze in my lungs had gone and told me to keep using my inhalers as prescribed and if any problems to call 999 again . (Appreciate their service but the job was not fully done in my opinion its not their fault I blame modern medicine)

That evening I went to bed and slept OK but something was still bothering me , I just could not get a good breath in or out. It felt like my lungs were only half working.

On Christmas eve I could barely walk a meter without being out of breath and talking was only possible if I had been resting. As the man of the house I tried to do some santa stuff when everyone had gone to bed but I was absolutely fucked just from filling a Stocking. Screw this I thought I've got one trick up my sleeve that no one is willing to reccomend.

I'm sad to say its been a sober Christmas for me becuase I ran out of weed weeks ago and I didn't get any in time for Christmas unfortunately . But under the stairs I went , reached for my mighty and my grinders and collected all the crystals from the bottom compartments and put it into a dosing capsule which had some already vaped stuff in from a while ago so just sandwiched the crystals in between.

I vaped this stuff and within moments it's was like bang , suddenly I can breath properly my lung capacity is back at 100% , I still feel ill and i can now feel that my lungs are sore from all the coughing over the past week but god damn I can get a full breath of air again . Now this wasn't by accident I knew from past experience that cannabis tends to relax my airways providing it doesn't irritate it first so I knew on a low temp would be a good idea. I was concerned that one the thc effects had worn off my lungs would return to their previous state... but they didn't

Anyway , now being able to return to some normalcy I did all my santa related things and went to bed and had a great sleep aswell from the thc.

Christmas day was finally here , I was still out of breath like I had ran a marathon if I did to much walking around the house but man I could breath properly it was just the persisting cough and my aching body feeling hot/cold holding me back now.

I usually make Christmas Dinner every year (because I do a banging one) but this year I just had to instruct my wife which went off without a hitch.

Throughout Christmas day this cough of mine was now bringing up a ton of stuff off my chest which i can only imagine was blocking my airways and my god it's all coming up and with every cough I feel better and better , it's not a coincidence that this all happened after having my mighty .

Once my Airways were fully open I could finally get my prescribed medicine into the depths of my lungs

Previously having a good cough would make my chest tighter now my cough is bring up stuff and I feel better each time I do , it's unbelievable how thankful I am to cannabis as i could have easily ended up spending Christmas in hospital on steroids and nebuliser.

Today is boxing day and I am sitting on my sofa still feeling ill but the one thing that is not causing me problems is my asthma , for those who have ever felt the effects of asthma and your lungs closing up on you will understand how happy I am feeling right now and I swear to god I will never take breathing or cannabis for granted ever again .

Becuase of all this I have tried to look up where I can get a consultation for medical weed which brought me to mamedica. I filled in a questionnaire and to my suprise the response is that I am not eligible for medical marijuana , can you believe that shit after what I have just been through ??!!!! What the hell man !!!

It sounds mad but cannabis does help asthma, probabbly not good idea to smoke it but vape on a low temp has undeniably given me a Christmas miracle. If it was not for my unorthodox thinking I would probabbly be in a hospital bed right now.

I am disgusted that modern medicine still turns it's back on cannabis after what I have just experienced. I will keep trying to get a consultation though. I just need to explain to someone how it has helped me I'm sure I can convince a medical professional in this industry that it is a good thing for me.

Does anyone know a trusted vendor here which will be best for medicinal purposes? I am concerned about pgr's and generally not knowing what is in the stuff if I don't know where its come from.

Has anyone here used weed to treat asthma related symptoms ? Did you experience relief like I did?

Hi all I've never done DMT myself but I know all about it from a friend who tells me everything he remembers from his trips he is very into it which makes me worried for him sometimes as it can be all he talks about , but to be fair I can tell its had a profound effect on his life and fundamentally changed his view of the world perhaps for the better. So much so he tells me that sometimes he wishes he never took it because ignorance is bliss and all that . he suddenly believes in a God when he was the biggest atheist I've ever met. Whilst I am very curious I only enjoy weed and using psychedelics scares me a bit plus I have an addictive personality.

Anyway I wanted to share some of the things he has told me he has experienced and I wanted to ask if anyone would be willing to share some of their travels with me as deep as they get and what you can remeber. I'd love to experience it for myself but when I've had opportunities in the past my mind simply won't let me do it. I don't know what the universe is trying to tell me by that maybe I'm not ready.

So if your willing to share , here is a few experiences I've had shared with me.

1) his first time he managed to breakthrough he had contact with an entity who said he could ask them anything he wanted , he said his mind went blank and the first thing that he could think of was what's the meaning of life (of course) and the entity laughed and said that's a very big question why don't you just enjoy the experience for now and suddenly he was catapulted through what he describes as a tubular vortex at a million miles an hour when he came out the other end he was looking at formations of galaxies and constellations almost like the entity was giving him a tour of all the universes that exist.

2) another time he found himself in what he describes as a factory of robots whizzing around him like he was invisible to them and suddenly one of them stopped and said to him what are you doing here your not supposed to be here now and then it ended .

3) this ones a bit scary but he said everything went dark and that was all there was . in his mind he believed he had passed away and his own voice was telling him this is it you've fucked it now mate your dead now and he was reminded of all his family that he had left behind and when he woke up he was so relieved and thankful he was alive . I can imagine how incredibly scary that must have been for him.

4) he has also had various other times when he couldnt breakthrough and has just seen explosions of colours and says they are the most beautiful things he has ever seen.

He is always chasing the breakthroughs so he can speak to the entity again but says its been extremely extremely rare and I can't remember right now what other conversations he has had with them that he has told me about , mostly becuase we are always high when he tells me this stuff.

Anyway I truly believe him and makes me believe there is something more to us that we are sheltered from by something higher than us. I know that DMT is supposedly released from our pinneal gland in the moments before death and I have a theory that this is what you experience as your final thoughts only when you actually die it lasts for an eternity becuase its the last thing you do/see which is possibly what people anticipate is heaven. And this also must be what people mean when they technically die for a few moments and come back and say they spoke to God etc..

Deep deep stuff I've just got goosebumps from reading all this back to myself lol

Just curious to know how much flower goes into making 1 gram of vape oil. Don't need an exact figure, I assume anything between 2/3 grams are used and the byproducts then used to make other cannabis related products such as edibles, massage oils, creams etc.

I have tried looking it up on the Web, however I'm not having much luck. Would be nice to get some info from people who make the oil or anyone with a greater knowledge then myself.
