Good Morning, Biggaz!
I managed to sneak in another quick order for LUDs dank of the week! This week, it was Mochi - or Gelato 47, as it's also known! And i love Gelato :)
My parcel arrived earlier on this morning, within 2 days of ordering, and was another fine example of the perfect stealth! LUDs sends in a box which provides great discretion! Double heat sealed inside, nobody will know what you are receiving unless opened! I loved the little sticker too, guys! ;) If you had left it on the backing paper, I could have put it on my laptop or something! Very cool little logo you have! :D
Weighing up my deal, it was overweight, again :) something that always makes us happy, right? :D No complaints there!!
The nugs of the batch are small to medium in size, well trimmed, with very little stalk or leaf present. They are of mid density, so they have a little fluffiness left to them, and a little sticky icky, too! They have not been compressed when packing, so the appearance is very appetising! Lots of dark orange hairs, but not much in the way of surface crystals.
The smell of this strain is gorgeous. Sweet like GSC and dank like Gelato! The sweetness is very fruity, as apposed to candy/sugar. Sticking your nose in the jar and taking a deep breath, reminds me of wine tasting! Such rich notes present. A real treat in that respect. You can smell this is a recently grown batch, too. Not that its damp/fresh...but it smells good and right out of the curing jars. I doubt this has been held for a long time before we were blessed with it!
The bud smokes up lovely! Nice and smooth, and flavoursome! It really has that "taste of Amsterdam" about it! It is very easily noticed as a Gelato strain. It's akin to Gelato 33 in taste. Deep, earthy flavours, with a sweet aftertaste. Very fragrant and herbal. I'm finding it quite hard to put this strain down, already! The flavours are so much like the smell. Its really tasty and enjoyable :)
The high is soothing. Leaning towards indica, its relaxing and stress relieving! You soon sink into the comfort of your surroundings, and your mind begins to wonder. A good smoke for the heavy tokers, and probably a banger for part time/newbies! It definitely packs a punch! I think the THC levels can reach out to 29-30% on this strain...but usually sitting around 22% . As a heavy toker, myself. I am pleased with the effects. I am only 2 spliffs in, and would normally smoke 3 before leaving a review. This one didnt need that 3rd spliff ;) The effects are obvious! Happy days!
Overall, I have been very happy for a second time, when ordering with LUDs. I was skeptical at first, but this vendor is fire!! I am so pleased that I took a punt and placed an order! Dank cookies was highly rated by the community, and I have a feeling Mochi will be no different! Another great strain from LUDs! It's unfortunate that his items are sold out before reviews roll in. But I hope you are filled with confidence when the reviews do roll in, as I would reccomend checking on LUDs wall every few days! Not only are the prices super competitive, but the bud is top quality, too! But stuff sells FAST so be on your A game! ;)
