Do you normally ask for the tracking number as a matter of course?
IME vendors only dig them out if there's a problem: with multiple orders possibly being packed and dispatched from multiple locations, it can be a considerable amount of extra work.
Entirely natural to be on edge considering what we're buying and the sums often involved, but if you "buy the seller" then you can relax.

Just had a look at FT and I see that sending out the tracking number is part of USP. If they're doing any volume, I think they'll soon drop this.
Re "buying the seller". FT have been on here less than a year and already have 1% disputed: personally, I wouldn't shop there.
But either way, you are covered, so don't stress!
