Best VPN?

Hi Guys,

I'm just in the process of renewing my VPN. I've been using PureVPN for the past few years and don't have any complaints, but are there better options out there?

I've been reading a few forums and apparently NordVPN seems to be a popular choice, and is a bit cheaper than Pure.

If anyone uses Nord, is it worth upgrading from the basic package?

I use Apple computers and Android phones (in case that makes any difference).

I'm not particularly good with technology so a simple app/software would be preferable.

Nord should be fine for buyers but we strongly recommend avoiding it as a vendor, they have in their terms and conditions they will comply with law enforcement should it be required. This isn't specific to Nord alot of the big VPN companies do this

ExpressVPN is good and they do not comply with law enforcement, if ExpressVPN are forced to provide information they simply don't save any records in the first place so they have nothing to hand over. Even if a subpoena is issued they have nothing to give as no records are kept to begin with

Hey, BB. Would steer clear of NordVPN as they are known grassers and will give your info to LE.

I currently use Mullvad VPN as they have it in writing their service has a "no logs policy" which means data isn't kept.

You can pay for it with Bitcoin and Monero which renders it essentially anonymous (if you use Monero) and if you're looking for something the OPSEC conscious vendor would use, this is it.

1 month is a 5 EUR flat rate fee. 5 devices fit on 1 subscription.

I second MULLVAD. Great VPN, no lag or dropout. You can also refresh you’re connection without disconnecting. £5 a month payable with BTC. Don’t even need an email address. Limited servers but works well. Based in Sweden I think.

As i said to Gassed i had no idea this was the case. Looks like i might have been using a potentially incriminating VPN for the last 3 years! Oh well, you live and learn...

Tor itself is pretty safe if your using the safest configuration.

Using a Virtual Machine, a bridge or a trusted and log free VPN may further increase security against specific threats if you know what your doing.

If you don't know what your doing, a VPN can sometimes even decrease your security.

A lot of VPN companies claim they don't keep logs. It's hard to be 100% certain which of them conform to that.

I personally use ProtonVPN, based in Switzerland, open source, can pay with Monero.

Iv been using Surfshark for the past 4 years never had an issue , can use it on multiple devises , i share with my brothers , good luck .

I use Nord and only have the basic package. I've had it for a couple of years and haven't had any issues. I've not tried any others.
