Two Kings. One Throne

Two Kings can't share the same single throne: thats what I was taught and its a maxim that I have mostly lived by in terms of THC and alcohol. Last night though I discovered a winning combination of a Raw Garden Creme de Citron LR vape and a Pale Ale called Factotum by Pomona Island Brew Co. Absolutely gorgeous 😍. Completely blown away by it . So it has got me wondering if there are any other natural pairings between LB offerings of any form and alcohol in general?

I much prefer to get high ahead of drinking rather than the other way around. Mimosa is always a great choice for me. Then it’s finest sipping tequila with a frosted Corona side. Sheer joy!🤩

Red wine. Red wine & any weed/thc is a winning combination in my book. I know quite a few others that enjoy the buzz from both on a Saturday night. I would try your combo but I hate Pale Ale.

Don't knock it until you try it. Considering the munchies are going to kick in at some point there are going to be all types of textures & flavours going on. That aside my comment is primarily relating to the buzz from red wine & weed. Very satisfying but each to their own.

Agreed there FOR. I think that's what I found so pleasant last night - no weird textures and a relaxed throat over and above a glorious taste.

We wanted to talk a little bit about what has been profoundly shifting our inner landscape...something subtle, not flashy, yet deeply harmonising: micro dosing our True Mic.

We've been working with low, sub-perceptual doses of 7ug...just enough to stir the waters of consciousness without making waves. The idea is to introduce a whisper into the system, not a shout. We are more conscious but not overly aware of the medicine itself - just aware of ourselves.

We've been exploring and studying, this gentle activation of the serotonergic system and how that can help the nervous system access a kind of “update” mode. It’s like a soft reboot. Patterns of hypervigilance, stress reactivity, even emotional rigidity seem to loosen their grip when the nervous system is given this nudge, especially when paired with grounding practices like breathwork, yoga, clean diets, nature immersion, or somatic journaling.

Microdosing isn’t about bypassing struggle or numbing discomfort. It seems to invite coherence. A kind of subtle phase correction where old trauma loops begin to lose their magnetism but not through force, but through the simple offering of a new rhythm.

The most interesting part? The changes doesn't have to depend on continual use but most people find a rhythm of every second/third day, or a few times a month, and their system begins to “remember” what it feels like to be regulated. This echoes a deeper truth: healing is not just about removing what’s broken, but remembering what’s always been whole beneath the noise.

Of course, it’s not a fix-all or a shortcut. Set, setting, and intention matter. But when held in a container of respect and inner listening, it can be a beautiful mirror, a gentle and quiet one that helps the nervous system reorient toward safety, creativity, and peace.

To your post, my experience with psychedelic micro dosing is hugely positive, for the mind, the soul and surprisingly its physical healing properties.
more to the point, when you begin you will have experiences and you'll want to go back and have them again, they are short lived tho, as they aren't an effect of the psychedelic but it's you yourself growing through these experiences and once you've lived through them once, or maybe a few times you grow past onto something new.
when i started my chakras would bust open, one time for days, so i thought wow! its one of the effects but it wasnt, what it was it was the psychedelic balancing my chakras and i was experiencing them being activated and at least one bust open.
its like once a lesson is learnt, perhaps it was experienced will extreme bliss or pleasure, once it's learnt you will never expereience the same bliss or pleasure from the same lesson.
lesson being a psychedelic experience, something you live through and grow from.

Nicely put dear friend. We can also add that a lot of time you don't notice the effects immediately as it's working on micro-level but one day you might be sitting and observing your progress with a nice cup of tea and realise wow...what has happened here :-)

I'm with BB on that one, it's been extremely positive to me as well.

I can see how people who are stuck in a rut or have lost the apetite for living a good life can benefit from your medicine.

I did get a bottle of your True Mic last year and my experience matches the one you describe in some ways.

Going back to what BB said in Tom Wolfe's "Electric Kool Aid Acid Test" Ken Kesey talks about "going beyond acid" and here too I can see how microdosing is helping but not a goal in itself.

Thanks Duke! Our favourite strength at the moment is the True Mic. Once you work with the medicine for so many years we feel you don't need to work on the macro level so much anymore :-)
