I went to France again last week. I maintained tradition by crossing the border outwards on 3/7ths of a bar of EE's superb chocolate, and 4/7ths of it on the way back. I would treat a hamper very well, if it came to live with me briefly.

4 bars of chocolate look good, but which flavours? I'd have to dip on milk.

But more importantly, why no dark/plain chocolate? +70% cocoa solids stuff.

Strong coffee, spicey hash, bitter chocolate...

Or Chile Con Carne with a square in each bowl...

I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. Not enough people put chocolate into Chile Con Carne, and they should. As high a cocoa solid chocolate as possible, ideally. So glossy and unctuous afterwards.

That sounds very nice actually, I do love a bit of dark chocolate now and again, I had some recently it was dark chocolate with sea salt, sounds mad but works so well!

I will probably introduce something like this after the new year😊
