Noob Question about BTC anonymity

Hello! Hope all are having a good end to the weekend.
I'm really anxious about the buying process... specifically the bitcoin buying process and transfer. I understand I can use agoradesk or similar to buy bitcoin without KYC, which is great - but I'll need to use a banc acct in my name, right? To actually provide the funds, that is. In which case doesn't that mean there a clear trail regardless (from my bank account, saying I'm buying BTC from an anon site?)
Not sure if I'm missing something here, but doesn't that partially get rid of the point of anonymous sites like Agoradesk? I'm worried because future jobs in my field sometimes need to run financial audits on candidates, and idk whether it would look sketchy buying BTC via agoradesk or similar

let them audit away your bank only sees the individual's name you send funds to not the p2p exchange like agoradesk.

Thanks for the response! So, the bank only sees the individual who I buy the BTC from, and then from there the BTC sits in the exchange wallet before I transfer it to a private wallet (if my understanding is right).

The bank can't see any of my wallet addresses or anything from that transaction, or can they? I worry because of the whole idea of all BTC transactions being permanent and traceable.. that they (or financial audit people) will be able to see the transaction between wallet -> LB, and work out what the transaction was about.

What problem are you trying to solve?

Yes your bank will know you bought cryptocurrency, but what's the problem with that?

Sorry for not being clear, thanks for the reply. I think it's overly paranoia in my case. I was wondering firstly if there's negative connotations with buying from agoradesk (in the same way as apparently coin mixing is associated with criminal activity), and secondly (more importantly) whether the bank knows from the transaction which wallet address the crypto goes into?

Wherever you buy from is going to have a KYC requirement, or it's clear you're avoiding KYC.

It's perfectly legal to buy sell and own cryptocurrency, though your bank will probably try to stop you.

Your bank will only transfer £ and have no window whatsoever on what wallet addresses you might use. The exchange will know who you are and require ID, but you can simply send from an exchange to a local wallet thereby breaking that connection, eg Exodus.

If you're buying and selling large amounts you're right to be careful but otherwise no problem.

Yeah, for me personally I'm more worried about how these transactions appear on financial audits and the future traceability...

Though what the other commenter said seems alarming, just to a low % of people I suppose. Thanks for your reply
