Shelf life of Hash? Advice needed please

Hello friends

It’s not easy for me to hide weed from family be that storing or having it delivered.
But next week will be a rare occasion where I will be home alone and can take delivery without getting caught. (I’m a grown adult in his 40s btw- sad I have to take these measures I know, dont judge me please).

I’ve not smoked hash since I was a student but am thinking this would be the best way for me to bulk buy. Being so compressed it would be easy for me to hide rather than ounces of flower which would have to be stored in jars and burped etc

1. How long will hash last before it goes bad?
2. Can anyone recommend me some decent hash at a decent price?

I’m planning on wrapping it in foil and then clingfilm, being stored and a cool dark place.

Any advice would be appreciated and so sorry for the long post.

TLDR summary for u

Short term storage -parchment paper, dark, cool place

Medium term storage - parchment paper, airtight container, dark cool place. Fridge best for oily hash.

Long term storage - vac sealed, in freezer

Hash can last over 5 years with right storage, THC does begin degrading to CBN though.

I'm gonna recommend odin, if you're looking for some hash to blow your head off grab the rainbow king, it's sublime and can honestly say i haven't been as high as I was for years!!!

My go to’s are Dr Greenthumb, Eddys Hashbar and Real D..always had superb quality hash of these guys. I echo the advice about storage from the comments below. Baking parchment, airtight glass container , fridge.

I read in 'Hashish' by Clarke that hash can lose up to 40% potency in its first a year, quite an old book now mind. Best to keep it wrapped up and kept in a sealed tub in the fridge for long term storage. Heat light and oxygen are your enemies basically.

Yeah what others recommend sellers can’t go wrong,I’m a very light smoker and I’ve got 12-13 different types of hash making up just over one OZ ,I wrap it in baking paper individually named what type it is and it’s in a metal tobacco tin.
I was reading online that someone found a old stash of hash about 25-30 years old and it was still quiet potent.
One of my favourites is amnesia from dr greenthumb,fucking love that stuff.

I second that, I tend to buy lots of different varietys too and I wrap them in baking paper and put them back in their baggies.

I keep them in an airtight tub that I bought from a supermarket, it has a seal that is airtight so there is no smell.

I’ve had stuff that is years old and still smokes great. I think the baking paper seems to help.

As for choice, the world is your lobster, there’s so much good stuff on here.

Also the packaging is generally so discrete, unless your family are likely to open your mail for you it’s unlikely they’ll be able to tell what’s in there.

Hash lasts for years get yourself the mini kilner jars and stash it in them brilliant for smells and air tight lasts for donkeys.

Try Strainsburys I have ordered 3 times. I actually ordered last night and got it this morning 😁😁😁. They have beautiful hash on their site great vendor honestly I can't rate them high enough. Hope this helps 😍😍😍

What do you recommend from Strainsburys, I don’t want one that’ll send me to sleep and one that crumbles nicely without a lighter. I can’t be making a smell when skinning up!

Also how long do you think they’ll be ok for before they spoil?

Pistachs cookies and cream beldia is beautiful.Any of the sticky hash is amazing from Strainsburys. Vacuum pack it to take all the air out and put it in an airtight container should last for yonks honestly the m&ms hash from Strainsburys is beautiful they have added different kinds like the sunset sherbet haven't tried the new ones need to wait for payday xxxx
