Price of bud on LB/The Streets

I’ve been meaning to ask this but never got around to it. Since being on LB I’ve noticed the prices of most vendors tend to be similar unless it’s import etc. For me as someone who’s bought off the same dealer on the street for years until he packed it in, I struggle to understand the pricing of weed on here. To me for good stuff you pay 10er a gram or £30 an 8th, £55-60 on a Q and about £100 for half. Yet on here I see 8ths for minimum of £40+. I understand there’s packaging, risk and sometimes postage included in the price but I still struggle to understand how on normal bud people charge more than £10 a gram all the way through. Plus we then have fees added due to BTC. What’s the norm prices around where you are? Is it just cheap in my area on the streets or is it the normal price? Tempted to get some and sell at normal prices on here!

No offence but clearly LB are not hosting this site for love, what with transax & escrow services plus the risk factor. They take a 15% cut and hold on to the coin for weeks before the seller sees a penny. Good stealth packaging has a cost and time element too, and there is some damn fine weed starting at $40 an 1/8th so that’s £10 a g straight to you by the Queen’s own delivery service. Seller fucks you over?- you get your money back. It’s bloody great!

Hmmm. Yeah....but there are other markets which also have fees to list and vendors on there (some of the same vendors on here) can be found to have cheaper prices. The LB market is a little pit of profit for vendors
I cant blame them for selling here at all tbh. £10+ for every G, all they way up to the ounce and beyond? I'd sell here too hahaha

It’s a bit like everybody wanting legal weed and when they get it going into the brightly lit shiny tech licensed store with hundreds of tested and taxed products and a smiley sales assistant and the costs are so high they bitch like hell and go straight back to the street.
Happens a lot in California.

I guess the beauty of legal weed is you dont have to go to the dispensaries. It's a choice. Same as buying on here. Most people do it because its easier and they dont have great options elsewhere. LB is cool... but its damn expensive comapred to a few years ago

Legal weed is only available through dispensaries. It’s illegal on the streets. The irony is that legalising was hailed to wipe out the street trade overnight but it thrives because it’s cheaper (no tax, no overheads-sound familiar?) and there is a growing conviction that the best gear is on the street. It’s a twisty turny world!

But that's the thing even at 10er a g, £30 8ths and £100 half's you can still make good profit. Very tempted, as selling at normal price on here for good quality will fly out

There's all those extra costs and fees for sellers here but also think about how many dealers you have near you... I have way more local dealers than the total number of sellers on this site and I don't even live in a big area.

I don't mind the eights being expensive since it's a lot of work for the sellers to keep shipping out small bits for small profits but the lack of price scaling some sellers have on their prices bugs me. It should always be cheaper the more you buy. I wont use sellers that don't scale.

I agree with zz here. If you want a little treat, an 8th at a higher price isnt a problem. But if you use LB for your main stock and you don't get much, or even any discount for buying 1/2 - Oz. It's pricey then...

+$5 postage
+ 15% in LB fees = $100

Plenty of options here at that price.

15%!?!? Damnn, didn't know that. As I say, I still struggle to understand the actual pricing on here. %15 could explain high mark ups.

It’s not cheap, and there’s money to be made but not so much if you’re paying £200 on the oz.

With the range on offer, reviews before you buy, choose your strains, escrow protection and not having to deal with street dealers, it’s not bad value really... with some exceptions of course.

People shouldn't be paying 200 on an oz to sell really unless its ridiculous prices, even then on the streets that would be 10er a g. I totally understand it being good considering you can still get bud to your door but I just never understood why it was so expensive on here. I thought maybe in the city's it's the price people pay for weed now but round here it's still 55/60 on a q meaning the dealers getting Ozs for around 170-180. Now I know there's 15% on top it sort of adds up now

Made an order this morning and paid as usual all went through ok but on my order page it still says unpaid, if I click on pay remainder it tells me my order is paid so anyone any idea what’s gone on there?

Same for me i ordered last night at 10.30 and got the same partially unpaid message checked this morning before work and it was the same it's finally shown as paid at 13.52 today missing the cut off.Just out of interest what did you order? The only thing i did different to usual was order 2 items from one vendor using the shopping basket which has previously been fine when ordering just 1 item.I'm wondering if the problem is the basket with multiple items?? The partially paid bit is making me think along these lines.

Yeah obviously an issue today happened with my order as well. Eventually said paid but then the vendor cancelled it, hopefully I’ll get the money back through transaxe?
