My advice to you is to withdraw your money and close your etoro account. They suck.

Otherwise you'll have to download the eToro Money smartphone app - do the make a PC or Mac version of it? Nope.

That is important becuase eToro is the ONLY wallet eToro will let you transfer your bitcoins to.

HOWEVER to be able to transfer your BTCs to the eToro wallet you will need to meet the following two requirements:

1) Having opened a trade for at least 0.01 BTC (otherwise you cannot close the trade and transfer to the wallet as you've realised).

2) Always have at least 10$ left in cash in your eToro account.

Close your account, use another exchange.

You should be able to transfer it back into your account failing what contact them and ask them to close the account and for your money back.

They closed my account after inquiring about some transaxe payments.

The trick here is to avoid sending direclty form your exchange to transaxe, I am now using an intermediate wallet- so yes I pay even more fees but at least the exchange won't ban me.

I see a lot of talk right now about the crypto questionnaires form coinbase and all but little talk about exchanges asking you what specific transactions were for.

It doesn't matter which exchange you use - if it is an FCA approved exchange they will question where/who/why you send BTC where/to/for and if they see transactions going to transaxe they will close down your account.

This is all in line with a new set of regulations (i.e restrictions) imposed by the UK Gov this Autumn.

You see they don't mind their mates siphoning vast amounts of taxpayers money for dodgy PPE but they do have an issue with your sending a 100$ worth of bitcoin somewhere.

Revolut is solid but they too will flag transactions and all so you;ve been warned.

I never use the QR code. Just copy the Transaxe wallet address from the payment page, paste it into my wallet and send that way. Same applies to the BTC total, just copy & paste.

You don’t need to use the QR code. Click on the transaxe address to copy it and paste it into the send order from your wallet…if I understand you correctly 🤔
