Word to your mother Rozzy E!
I too would argue adamantly that nowadays a considerable % of the hash market is made up of genuinely harmful trash and that the days of true hash are almost over. I've had a "triple filter" the distillate content of which I'd die on a hill over. Same story with heroin, where synthetics rule the roost...
So leaning into this might just be the smartest move.
And, tbh, I'm really fucking interested.
It actually *looks* pretty damn good, and could easily pass off as commercial... so it actually takes a pretty damned rare soul to not just follow the market trend... credit to you mon ami.
I very much look forward to your future broad-spectrum concoctions:
I'm a big fan of CBG - although of course everything is relevant mostly in proportions rather than isolation - but from what I hear CBC, which is (according to ChatGPT):
* Fat-soluble and heat-stable.
* Non-crystallising unlike high-purity CBD/CBG, so won’t ruin texture.
* Adds gloss and tackiness to the final hash matrix (nice for bubble or blend-stabilised hashes).
* Can serve as a “high-tone” modulator: balances psychoactive intensity without flattening it. (This being most intruiging to the end user!)
and may prove to be an especially important constituent to maximise the other cannabinoids?
Now personally, my current benchmark for price and effect of "entry-level" hash is the L.A. Mousse (available at around £140 per ounce)
I think a lot of folks mistake the L.A. Mousse for fake hash, usually because it burns black and lacks oils.
Imo, it is in fact the perfectly clean and all-natural byproduct of machine-produced electrostatic hash: a material closer to skuff, but containing shedloads of trichome stalks and almost zero trichome heads.
It's waste product, true, but ultimately it is just plant material, and it does a fine job of medicating at fair doses.
(The issue is surely really in whether it should justifiably be classified as hash, or if it is really a different product entirely?)
Ime, the various L.A. Mousse strains are quite consistently surprisingly potent, for the price anyhow - although in the absence of trichomes they lack terpenes, so the flavour/aroma profiles are muted, very limited, and the smoking experience reportedly a bit of a problem (too powdery, needs mixing).
It's also easily overcooked when vaped at too high a temperature, so can be quickly rendered unpleasant.
But, as a budget buyer, for several months now when evening comes, or if my needs are unmanageably aggravating in the meantime and I require something I can be sure will stuff itself square between my eyes and then help my body to simmer down in sensuous shimmers, tbh I count myself pretty fortunate to have had a chunk of the Italian Ice variant to reach for throughout, thanks to its comparative affordability.
But this Desert Melt would be a nice chunk of change cheaper per ounce than the L.A. Mousse, and if you can dial it in for that broad-spectrum effect I'd almost certainly be all over it.
And, even in the meantime - produce a good, sustained body load at moderate dosage and that's almost all I'd need to become a repeat customer.
After all, I'd already given up on any other cheap stuff and had to start spending more than I could afford on higher end goods, as dosing budget gear here was like farting in the wind hoping to catch a whiff.
I think I may have come across something similarly constituted to the Desert Melt here a while back, but for far cheaper so I'd trust it was of much poorer quality.
Still though, I have to concede that not only was it stronger than anything I'd tried up to and above the price you're currently pitching this at, but it was generally more effective as a medicine thanks to it's tangible, effective body high.
Anyway as it happens I read a Bigroo post recently that had mentioned keeping Delta-9 in his toolbox to supplement sessions, and given how dissatisfying I'd found so many of the products I'd accumulated was struck that I perhaps was missing a trick there, only to be disappointed to find that dhv-ing D-9 is actually inadvisable?
But then today up this pops!
Some things are just serendipitous!
