I’m an old-school hash head—been smoking it since my teenage years. Recently, I’ve gotten back into hash, but I was getting tired of how much tobacco I had to use when rolling spliffs. At the same time, I started noticing that the quality of hash was improving—things like static sifts, for example. I also noticed that the prices were getting pretty steep, with some going for £50+ a gram.
That’s when I came across the Puffco Peak and started looking into whether you could use it for these higher-end types of hash. I saw mixed opinions—some saying you could, others saying you couldn’t. Eventually, I thought, “Screw it,” and decided to take the plunge and bought the new Puffco Peak.
The first thing I tried with it was 2 grams of Rainbow Belts WPFF, since I’d heard that WPFF works really well with the Peak—and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. I expected it to be harsh like dabs I’ve tried in the past, but it was the opposite: smooth, creamy, and packed with beautiful Z terps. The high was strong but sneaky—it crept up on me gradually after the hit. And the hit itself? Tiny. Just a small scraping from the parchment paper it came in.
As for cleaning the Peak, it only took two Glob Mops and the chamber looked brand new again. Since then, I’ve run all sorts of hash through it—various statics and even some Blue Magic Patron. Some left a bit of a mess, but every time, it only took 2 or 3 Q-tips to get the chamber spotless again.
Honestly, I’d recommend any fellow smokers give it a try. The experience has been next-level.
