Hello everyone, managed to get our hands on some Layer Cake, an Indica dominant cross comprising of Wedding Cake x GMO x Triangle Kush x Skunk.

Aroma / Taste
First things first, I'm getting a sweet, gassy kick from this when I open the bag. Pleasant on the nose, can smell the Wedding Cake in this, has that slight "cakey" aroma.

Smell translates to the taste, however I find it slightly more gassy / dieselly with a slight hint of the sweet cakey flavour.

Consistency / Burn
Clean white ash in a joint, burns evenly. Nice resin ring (as pictured). Real pleasure to smoke.

Nice dense buds, 1g - 2.5g. Fluffs up nicely in the grinder, has a nice moist consistency. All trimmed really well, no scraggly ones in this batch.

Effects
Effects-wise, this bud is a pretty worthwhile contender. Decent hybrid stone, I have a moderate tolerance and this bud gives me that "side-of-the-head" feeling you get off strong smoke paired with a relaxing body high which I've found has worked great for my sleep over this last weekend.
