Warning: “THC Vape Juice” in Pod Vapes Is Not Real THC (Here’s Why”
I’m posting this as a genuine harm-reduction warning, not drama.

There are listings claiming to sell “THC vape juice” that:
• works in regular pod vapes
• contains no PG, no VG, no oils
• is “water compatible”
• and delivers strong psychoactive effects

From a chemical, physical, and industry standpoint, this is not possible with real THC.

Below is the scientific breakdown.

1. THC does NOT dissolve in water or thin liquids

THC is hydrophobic (water-repelling).

That means:
• It does not dissolve in water
• It does not dissolve in PG/VG in usable amounts
• It must be carried in oil-based formulations

This is why every legitimate THC vape on earth is:
• an oil cartridge
• with thick viscosity
• ceramic coils
• controlled airflow

If THC could be put into thin, refillable e-liquid:
• legal dispensaries would sell it
• pod vapes would dominate cannabis vaping
• carts would be obsolete

They aren’t — because it doesn’t work.

2. “Water-compatible emulsions” are not inhalation-safe

You may see claims like:

“THC distillate blended into a water-compatible emulsion using plant-derived emulsifiers”

Reality:
• Emulsions are unstable under heat
• Even pharmaceutical nano-emulsions are designed for oral drinks, not inhalation
• Heating emulsified THC causes separation and breakdown before aerosolisation

There is no accepted, inhalation-safe, water-based THC vape liquid in:
• legal cannabis
• medicine
• pharma research

If this technology existed, it would be patented and everywhere.

3. Pod vapes cannot handle THC distillate

THC distillate is thick oil.

In a pod vape it will:
• clog the coil
• burn the cotton
• fail to wick
• or not vaporise at all

This is basic hardware physics.

If a liquid:
• is thin like e-juice
• wicks instantly
• vapes cleanly in pods

👉 then THC is not the active ingredient.

4. “No PG / No VG / No oils” is a massive red flag

Removing all known carriers while claiming strong psychoactive delivery violates basic aerosol science.

You cannot:
• suspend THC in water
• heat it in a pod
• inhale it effectively

Something else must be providing the effect.

5. Effect profile matters

Products like this are commonly reported to cause:
• very fast onset
• very short highs (5–10 minutes)
• compulsive redosing
• strong cravings
• withdrawal symptoms

This effect profile does not match THC.

It does match synthetic cannabinoids (Spice / noids), which:
• dissolve easily in thin liquids
• work in pod vapes
• are extremely potent
• wear off fast
• cause dependency

I have nothing against this seller at all, I just believe if your going to sell spice/noids you should voice that not brand it as thc.

They should really be forced to test this product for the sake of biggas' health. Is Test Borg still around?

It costs maybe £7 to buy a THC test I'm genuinely thinking of doing it cause everyone won't let up about it

It is possible to make THC e liquid it's just never going to be perfect cause of the chemicals required to make the distilate thin enough

From my research that's what I found and that's why I didn't go through with it

But I think he could have done it the list of ingredients he mentioned probably could do it

It is possible to make real THC e liquid using distilate but you will have a sore throat from the mixture

That's what I gathered from my research

Honestly for the cost and the level of assurance it gives biggas, I'd say it's worth it. Certainly alleviates my stress around being health conscious

Test borg just redirects you to wedinos

Cannabis Cannibals
The only correction that needed here is that there are CCELL pods made for THC distillate with ceramic coils that can indeed handle thick oils.
However any vape product that doesn't disclose its ingredients are to avoid in my opinion.

Stuff like this is why cannabis should be legalised and regulated. I think the sales tax alone would fund the NHS.

Interesting read. Thanks...

As someone with a medical background, I can vouch for every pointer except 4 (personal lack of knowledge).

If this indeed is genuine as the vendors description states, then its not safe for you. If its a synthetic cannabinoid (spice) its still not safe for you.

Stick to standard carts and dispos with thick oils and a bubble that moves slower than a snail.

Thanks for pointing all this out Capri 👌🏻

Hi Capri 👋 interesting comment 🤔. So distillate doesn't work in pod vapes basically

VendorsExposed
If it did, it'd be everywhere.

Either this vendor is a scientist and has found a proprietry way to suspend genuine distillate, or its just synthetic cannabinoids. Most likely the latter.

Hi vendors exposed 👍. Thanks for the comment. So ive just ordered some disposable vapes from Dr Terpy. Who uses owa ccell pens. For their distillate. Which I know are safe. But without saying there not safe. Ive purchased some easie pods from Canadian imports a while ago. Because there a pod. And what's been said on this topic. I imagine there still safe to use 🤔

Canadian Imports seem to be genuine. I had a live resin dispo from them and it was genuine, not lab tested though.
The key giveaway is the thickness/viscosity of the liquid.
