Evening fine people of littlebiggy

Had a couple of years away from the site and what with changes of phone etc I've lost apps and remembering the ins and Outs of bitcoin.

Used to use samarai but notice how easy Blockchain is to set up, can I use the app to buy, store as a wallet and then upload to purchase the good stuff on here? Or do I need another wallet style app?
