I've been a 'every day' smoker for about 20 years and I find it beneficial to have a few days off now and then. Not only to lower the old tolerance but to remind myself that I'm in control of my cannabis use, and not the other way round. If you're struggling without weed this might be a good idea. Just make sure you're eating properly and drinking plenty of water. Going for a run in the evening can be helpful too as I find it helps me fall asleep more easily when I'm on one of my 'breaks'.
