In a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and ancient forests, lived a man named TheFunGuy. Each Sunday, he sought solace from the mental and emotional strains of the week, turning to nature for his respite.

One serene Sunday morning, as the first rays of dawn kissed the earth, TheFunGuy decided to create a magical breakfast. He had recently discovered a hidden grove where vibrant, iridescent mushrooms grew—a secret he kept close to his heart. These mushrooms were not ordinary; they possessed mystical properties, capable of opening the mind and soul to the universe's deepest truths.

With a sense of anticipation, TheFunGuy carefully picked a selection of these mushrooms and returned to his rustic kitchen. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the earthy scent of the mushrooms as he prepared a delicate omelet, infused with the enchanted fungi. His loyal Schnauzer, Portabellow, watched curiously, his snorts and playful barks filling the air with joy.

After enjoying his magical breakfast, TheFunGuy and Portabellow ventured outside. The sun was warm, the sky a vivid blue, and the world seemed to hum with life. As the effects of the mushrooms began to deepen, TheFunGuy felt a profound connection to his surroundings. Colors became more vivid, sounds more melodious, and the very air seemed alive with possibility.

Lying back on the soft grass, Portabellow curled up beside him, TheFunGuy closed his eyes, letting the gentle warmth wash over him. As he drifted deeper into his trip, vibrant geometrical patterns began to dance before his closed eyelids. Lights shifted and morphed, casting intricate shadows that pulsed with the rhythm of his heartbeat. The distant sound of music seemed to connect directly with his soul, each note a thread in the intricate tapestry of his experience.

Suddenly, a strange vision began to take shape. The clouds above swirled and morphed, and then, a familiar face emerged—P Diddy’s. But this was no comforting vision; P Diddy looked sinister, his eyes glinting with a predatory gleam.

"Yo, TheFunGuy," P Diddy’s voice boomed, unnervingly deep and resonant, "I’m the sinister minister here to mess with your trip. Got any mushrooms for me? Or should I just take what I want?"

TheFunGuy felt a shiver run down his spine. The face in the sky was both surreal and menacing, a dark shadow over his otherwise luminous journey. P Diddy’s head seemed to grow larger, pushing through the sky like a grotesque balloon, until it was right above him, leering.

"What kind of vehicle does a mushroom drive?" TheFunGuy tried to lighten the moment with a joke, "A spores car!" But the joke fell flat in the oppressive atmosphere.

P Diddy’s face twisted into a sneer. "Nice try, FunGuy, but I’m not here for jokes." The sky darkened, and P Diddy’s eyes glowed with an eerie light. "I’m here to take over your mind."

"What’s a mushroom’s favorite room?" TheFunGuy blurted out in desperation. "The mush-room!"

But the joke fell flat in the oppressive atmosphere. P Diddy’s presence was overwhelming, a dark force that twisted the beauty of the trip into a nightmarish realm.

P Diddy’s head loomed closer, his expression growing more sinister. "You think you can escape me? You think this trip is all fun and games?" His voice echoed through the air, filling TheFunGuy’s mind with dread.

"Why do mushrooms get invited to all the best parties?" TheFunGuy tried one last time, "Because they’re such fungis!"

Desperately, TheFunGuy tried to push back, focusing on the comforting presence of Portabellow beside him. The dog’s warmth and love were anchors in the swirling chaos. He took deep breaths, grounding himself in the simple, tangible reality of the world around him.

Finally, with a tremendous effort, TheFunGuy opened his eyes and sat up, breaking the spell. The vision of P Diddy dissolved, the sinister minister fading back into the recesses of his mind. The vibrant colors and harmonious music returned, washing over him like a gentle wave.
Exhausted but relieved, TheFunGuy hugged Portabellow tightly. He had weathered the storm, emerging with a newfound appreciation for the delicate balance of his inner world. As the sun dipped below the horizon, he knew that this trippy Sunday would stay with him forever, a reminder of the boundless joy and enlightenment that lay just beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered—and the shadows that sometimes came with it.

It's time to get wavey!

These dropped during the week so I planned to either whack the lot in one or pace it out by dosing 1.5g per time.

Had a bad back during the week, didn't manage to get much yoga or meditation done so Friday night I decided I would down the lot in one and let the mushrooms do whatever they want to do.

I always start with meditation/setting an intent for my trip, this particular time there was nothing specific, just to let myself have some time away from the banality of life.

Shrooms went in a smoothie maker, along with some orange juice, strawberries, blueberries and frozen mango, all blended up and very tastey, no "earthy" taste at all.

After about 20 minutes I noticed everything around me was slightly nicer, colours started to pop a little more and my general mood was just kind of content, I sighed and slid further down in my chair.

Watching a Youtube video and smoking some hash while I come up, started getting a warm feeling throughout my body when I noticed that the head of the person on my screen seemed to be getting larger and smaller.

I got up and walking around my flat felt AWESOME lol, I went into the bathroom, spotted myself in the mirror and had a giggling fit at how silly looking humans are.

Ok these have for sure kicked in now, put on some East Forest (check his music out), big headphones, sunglasses and went for a walk in the park.

I AM WOBBLY, had to sit down on a bench a few times so I could focus on the current wave. The trees looked like they were made up of tiny little people all waving to me at the same time, the path out of the park seemed to stretch on forever. I went and laid on the grass and the clouds above me were spinning in a circle.

I could tell each wave was getting stronger, so I did some stretches and meditation, the closed eye visuals made meditating a super interesting experience, the godrays behind my eyelids and the geometrics spiralling took me away for god knows how long.

Back home, at this point the waves are so strong, I ended up wearing my giant sloth hooded blanket and laying on the bed with an eyemask on fully immersing myself in the intense visuals and positive self talk that just seemed to flow through me.

Got up and laughed at myself for what seemed like an age, did some really good journalling work, then danced around the livingroom to music I haven't enjoyed in ages.

Fucking magic is damn right bois.
