Our vapes are very smooth when inhaling almost can't feel it until the exhale part where it can make you caugh if you toked for too long.

Harsh, burnt taste can be a sign of unprimed coil.

I think In that case, just separately but a battery and still use carts and it should solve your issue as many batteries have preheat

Based on what you're saying you're battery should be fully charged.
It's likely got too much distillate set on the coil, as it was mentioned earlier slightly warming it up would help melting the oil to allow the airflow to activate the vape function.
Unfortunately this method will only work if there's not that much oil blocking the airflow.
The best thing is to try to avoid this from happening but if it's already done the easiest way would be to use a needle or toothpick to clean out the distillate from the middle pole where the vape is coming from. You can reuse the distillate you recover from there in a joint or smudge it on some brownies either way there's nothinng harmful inside.

Why is it clogging?
When it happens it's always because the distillate got too warm for too long and flooded the coil.
The best thing to avoid it happening is to always store it at cooler temperatures.
Also while vaping the coil heats up and takes few seconds to cool down again.
So taking a short break between draws will also help to allow the coil to cool down and the distillate to set again before getting too much onto the coil.
This means chain vaping will sooner or later get the coil and the pole for airflow flooded with distillate simply because this way the coil stays constantly hot keeping the oil runny.

The pens are rated for 200-300 puffs but it will be really down to how much you will use it and how long your draws are. For some it lasts a week others 2 weeks. Personally I take 2-3 draws (2-3 sec) at any one time when I want to get high but can always feel it after one draw. The high is much cleaner then smoking with tobacco. I would argue this will get you as high as smoking but without the toxic chemicals releasedby combustion.
