Royal mail are currently under a cyber attack.. they have managed to restore a number of services but in store post office purchases/parcel deliveries are still currently suspended. There is a update link on the royal mail website, I reckon it will be sorted soon enough. Took a chance on an order at the start of the month with a vendor who was still delivering over here, postie has just passed so maybe in luck

I’ve just had a new to me vendor request my bitcoin address to make a refund as they said Royal Mail are not shipping to Ireland at the moment. This was disappointing as they had marked my order as sent 4 days ago.

Who was the vendor? I have been waiting 2 weeks for something that usually take a week and i really don't want to dispute or anything as is the second time I get a problem (third but twice the exact same scenario, 1st order 1 week, second was 2 weeks 3rd order never arrived) and is impacting my buyer's reputation... RM, if at fault, really needs to square their shit up... But I have a strong feeling than an post also has its very own weasels... I'm in munster myself and I'm really getting tired of these delivery issues...

Something else is going on and is getting annoying to a point really. DIUK did their part, RM and AP didn't. My recent EU order was delayed over a week with the message "being assessed by customs". So just over two weeks and I got the love letter.


International tracked counter postage has resumed from RM also but I think at this time that there is a very high chance of seizure. If you order alot, then you'll very likely be getting one soon.

Almost a month actually.. 27jan.. usually i get the love letter right away (within the week of seizure) so it should be there by now. I cant afford ordering many times at once (i am not that rich I'm afraid and only can spend those 130usd monthly for smoke) and this was not tracked. Happy birthday to me i guess 🥺 happened last time as well, 1st came in a week, 2nd 2 weeks, 3rd never came and never got a letter... This is just getting ridiculous really.

Yeah from DIUK, i was just after starting with them, and again 2 first orders were fine ish then nothing... I saw people wating 40 days... I really don't get how this is possible... Brexit doesn't excuse for the overdoing of customs either moreover on letters (packages i can get it but letter is really strange) so nothing i hear as a reason makes sense at all. Must be something else we dont know (obviously haha) and a back pocket is being lined nicely... There is a local vendor here but 450 for an oz... Lousy prices abusing of a certain situation in Ireland...

The customs overdoing is two pronged. Brexit requires them to now charge duties on items from UK hence the new system in place.

The other part is always the case and revolves around shipping illegal drugs in the mail which comes at a risk.

As far as the delay you are experiencing, it's either a postie robbing you(so you'll need another address) or it's caught up in the delays that occurred when RM shut down international counter postage.

I'd understand that if it was a package but that's a letter. That's not subject to taxes normally. Postie robbing me yeah could be but why only ⅓ then? Could do them all... I'll try a different address again but it wouldn't make sense tbh

Even if not subject to taxes, everything is put through customs importation process. Letters can sometimes be scrutinized even more do as something taxable "could" be in there and there isn't usually a customs declaration on them.
Massive backlog from UK right now isn't helping either.

I still think it will come.
But if you've only lost 1 of 3 so far and it isn't actually lost yet, you just have to roll with the punches or wait.

Nothing "makes sense" to you but these are all things that are fully possible when shipping drugs in the mail.

It has happened to me before where I also lost the package and didn't get a love letter many times before.

It's far too easy to get complacent and expect it to work all the time.

I read that there is a Gov level argument about post-brexit customs responsibilities - the "NI Protocol" causing extra delays to/from NI.
If you are in S. Eire I guess it's strikes and usual customs nonsense.

1 of my 3 orders has landed yesterday, this was from a new to me vendor I decided to try, 13 days. My 2 orders from my usual vendor have not arrived yet, 1 ordered 29th nov and 1 on the 1st Dec. Postal centre in that area may have been affected more by strike. Will keep you updated

You shouldn't really worry about future orders from other vendors as most people are reliable and trustworthy if you do your research, even with what's been going on.

Regardless, if your buying process was done through transaxe/LB you should get a refund anyways.

Perhaps the person you used being friend or vendor had complications, to which you still should of been informed about though.

A week or so seems valid with the mayhem, but doesn't sound good if it was last seen a month ago and no update. I've still seen orders going through for people with the crashes, people have just been flocking to society.

Hi benji, it wasn't from a vendor on here. From a friend that I've known for over 20years and completely trust, i haven't even paid for it yet, as he wants payment when it's delivered. I've ordered on here around 8 times i think and have recieved every order no problem. Just wanted to know peoples views on why it has taken so long. Its a shame really as it was around 40 grams worth aswell at an outstanding price!

It finally turned up today on 22nd Dec. It was last seen leaving the Thai airport on 10th Nov.🤯🤣

Hi Jack. Firstly it is not down to the vendor to decide on their terms and conditions - it'll be down to your rep (how many buys) and the vendor's rep too. Did you get it tracked postage? If so ask for the tracking number so you can see for yourself what happened to your parcel. Going back to my original point - after asking for tracking so you can see if it was 'actually' sent. I would then probably open a dispute and see where that's get you. If you didn't get it tracked then it really doesn't leave you anywhere and maybe the 50% reship is fair. Ireland is always a tough place for items to land - you see a fair few people getting stung by customs.

Just dispute it, you will surely do better than 50%. The settlement borg overrides sellers terms.

Hi I think this is fair as it is what we offer on reships too although for regular customers we often reship for free - i do know that there is a much higher chance of the shipment going missing if it is sent UK - ROI compared to if its a UK - UK shipment. have you had a look for a vendor that ships direct from Ireland to avoid customs ?

I in no way am saying that the vendor is untrustworthy, I believe them when they say it was sent, it was really was it fair that when the order doesn't arrive that you receive a 50% reship, I was more on the side that it was fair myself.

Without tracking then it is a 50:50 call- they insist they sent it, you insist you didn’t get it. With good reputations on both sides, Escrow is unlikely to improve on a 50% settlement.
100% settlements are where the vendor has buggered off or refuses any comms…

Based in Dublin here. Had good few orders get through (all from Radar Breeder) before Brexit.

I got one or 2 through, post-Brexit, but then 4 out of 5 orders got picked up by customs, so I stopped.

Requested some money back from Radar Breeder a few times and he originally said he would, but I never got a penny back and gave up trying.

I was going to stop ordering from here altogether but thought I'd give a non-UK vendor (Hootan) a chance, to see if it made any difference. Ordered last Wednesday. No sign of it yet. Requested tracking but have yet to get that either, despite being told it would be sent.

I get the feeling some vendors know packages going to Ireland are less likely to make it through now, so might think fuck it, I can screw them.

I'll probably end up going to another site, if my Hootan order doesn't arrive.

Would like to hear other people's experiences too. Have you had packages arrive from non-UK vendors? If so, which ones are good? Seems to be very few that sell good weed to Ireland.

Dubliner here - have used Hootan as 3 seizures from TGT by customs. Hootan is super reliable. Takes 7 days on average to arrive. Made 3 28g orders - all arrived safely.

Lads if your getting tracked delivery your fucked.. Go for standard post and small amounts and you should have no problem

My experience with Hootan has been great. Getting packages from UK is proving very hard. Unfortunately hootan is moving back to UK so he won’t be getting orders from me anymore. There’s a few other EU sellers like ms suisse but I’ve yet to try.

Diuk are the best for irish customers as they offer standard delivery which is the best way now for us lads as regarding customs less likely to get caught

I threw an order in last Sunday night, marked as sent Monday and even got a response and nothing turned up. Understand the frustrations with regards to order but given the circumstances you'd have to take it at face value, let the team deal with their grief firstly and most importantly. When the time comes I am sure that they will reach out to anyone who's orders have been affected. In the meantime for us consumers, there's a dispute system there to protect our finances.

If you can ship fast within EU you will build something big, starting with immediate customers in Ireland.
