So I thought I’d give it a try… got myself 8oz of decent shake from Strainsburys (banging shake.. can smoke it raw in blunts as well) 8 cans of pure butane and a vacuum chamber…

Anybody done this before? Any advice?

I make it with gas and usually I get 2 runs with gas sometimes from bud and trim even 3 but I don't have a pressure oven . The BHO is great with good kief you can make some strong hash too

We’ve seen multiple messages today, from the UK and US. The US message being from one of our first ever suppliers that we was using starting out 2017, we left and blocked them very quickly. Both offering replica’s or packaging and it’s becoming like a meme in the UK community. Be cautious, these are the kind of people who throw spice into “THC Oil” if they are being packed in the UK. There’s even recent tests containing heroin in these cheap homemade “THC Oil” bottles

Looks like that’s a 0.7 tank and likely is filled up to 0.5ml hence the buble.

All of mine seem to come with an air bubble, i justcalways presumed the cart was slightly bigger.

Just had a thought, has the vendor filled it on weight not volume? 1g=1ml is standard, if you are talking about water. Distillate is so viscious(heavy), i don't think 1g will ever fill a 1ml vessel, anyone agree?

I have been stung with this a couple of times now, not here on LB but certainly on DNM. One example was a half oz of gorilla glue bought on cann#zon. Package arrived the next day, looked and smelled the part- had the appearance of weed that had been fully, if not over flowered (amber looking trich’s). Smoked slightly bitter, but had no real noticeable effects

No doubt everybody has seen websites selling legal CBD herb. I have, in the past, bought some from a legal website. Why I don’t know...

The stuff looks exactly like THC weed, smells like it, but no high at all- just a fuzzy body feeling (smoked in a bong so that could’ve been lack of oxygen!)

Anybody else been mugged with the old’ CBD weed switch’a’roo trick??

I'm sure that stuff is/was legal and you can walk into a head shop and purchase it. I remember trying it in the 90s and the effect was horrible. I thought I had turned into the carpet I was sat on and was getting rolled up.was so relieved when it wore off

So bought 3 x distillate syringes from these guys... and I'm gutted I didn't stick with my usual vendors!!! I know alot of you are going to say its not much and I'd generally agree but to feel like I'm to blame from the vendor is just fucked up!!!!

As you will see from the photos the items are still in the bags they arrived in and that's how they remain now on 19/01/23 at 19:53 and will stay like this for anyone to scrutinise...
1 of the syringes is bang on 1ml.. the 2nd is 0.88 (from top with a 0.1ml bubble at bottom) and 3rd is only 0.97ml.... so for them to say its me as they receive them like this is ludicrous...
I'm gonna leave an honest review based on all the factors... but ill be transparent with everyone the comms are fkn shit at best I generally think they have trouble keeping track of what's what... the items are under and they blame the customer.... defo not for me again for sure... and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend to anyone!!

Seen this happening pretty much since I joined the site almost 3 years ago. To echo your comment, it's definitely not all the big names but it feels like with a handful that if there's an issue with your order you're basically on your own. Whether that's due to a blasé attitude or just being too busy to effectively keep track of things, who knows?

Surely given the lethality of bad feedback on overall scores vendors doing this should be flagged up fairly quickly.

Never had an issue so far myself but I only use half a dozen - most of which are legends according to yourself.

Mrb4real is the only startup vendor I trusted up front (and I wasn't disappointed).

As you said there are plenty of vendors to choose from and the feedback system makes sure that bad vendors end up losing.

Unless my maths is shit lonescot got 95% of what he paid for.

Bear in mind that I do not use distillate so am ignorant about the scale of the loss i.e maybe that is many spaced out evenings gone missing.

Personally I could live with the loss (getting 71.25£ out of 75£) but that's just me.

And in no way does it validate the vendor not trying to settle things down (lonescot if you see my post don't get me wrong I totally get where you're coming from).

My philosophy is live and learn - if I get short changed I just move onto the next provider period - life is too short.

As you said plenty of fish in the LB ocean 🐠

That said some of these vendors are LB gold and should communicate with Biggas better that just basically calling them out as liars. Why do that?..why not take a breath and try to get to the bottom of it and a fair resolution?…makes no sense to me….

It's really not about me trying to start shit over a few quid... I'm just tryna show ppl that the quality control or the customer care just simply isn't there...
If RB had messaged and said oh shit sorry bro we will improve our quality control better next time or similar but no I got its your fault!!! Not good in any settings let alone this 1 where trust is paramount... how can we as customers trust a vendor who clearly ignores and berates his customers after payment!!! The way je went about this was all wrong... I gave him ample time to respond b4 I posted this but he chose not to...
The reason for my low score was like the review says...
I would score a restaurant the same if the service was terrible but the food was good so ppl could make their own opinion from the rest of the reviews... respect for the time bud.. this communication between us is whay makes this work!!!

I'm totally with you on this, I would expect the vendor to try to sort things out FIRST.

Which kind of person would go through the trouble of re-vacuum packing the syringes having only taken 5% out to then claim a new set of syringes? All they would have achieved is ripping off the vendor for 5% of the product.

If there was a leak or evaporation/condensation there would be dropplets in the vacuum packing too so it's unlikely that some of the distillate leaked out.

As scientists say often the simplest explanation is the correct one ;-)

Looking at the bright side of life there are plenty of other vendors willing to do business with you.

We fill every syringe and make sure they all are 1ml
SCALE ON SYRINGE SHOWS THAT
speccially that syringe where you have your thumb over it you must just covering hole of packaging and CLEARLY you can see its been USED
we sold 100s of them and never had complains like this

If there was a small amount short i'd just take that as an excuse never to use vendor again.
I'd give them at lowest maybe a 8/10 tho probably 10 and just move on. Pretty sure all my reviews have been 10s.
Just being honest.
I'd still use RB, the only vendors i don't use are once i have actual experience with myself.
No point either talking about other 'f u' vendors less you actually name them lol.

For me i can see 8 being reasonably low, then you have the 7/10 bandit, not sure if they're still about.
Then you have the 5/10 squad, now the 2 and the 1s have always always been here.

The thin slate format is traditional for Turkish hash...

Not sure if that's what was banging around in the 90s. Slate struck me as being on par with soap-bar back then. Maybe it was just cheap contaminated Turkish hash, maybe it was re-pressed Moroccan... dunno.

But in recent years, the only slate I've encountered was Turkish. And it was excellent every time. Hashishin had some on LB, I've still got a bit of that left. It's not super-potent, but it's clean!

If you’ve ever extracted hash using bubble bags or sieves once it’s dry and pressed together it is quite firm. It only becomes soft and oily when you heat it up or work it about in your hands.

The slate stuff was just very hard cold pressed hash.

I’m more suspicious these days of the overly oily stuff which suggests it has had something added to it.

Don't be suspicious. Weed has changed and got way stronger since back then, certain strains are selected now purely for hash making due to their trichome production being high. A lot of hash makers are now using cali genetics in morocco. The hash is currently in a transition of wiping out "commercial" hash.. in a year or two there will only be dry tech available and all these commercial hash plates will be extinct.

It’s happening/happened again. Right now. Most of the uk 100g bars are contaminated. They are repressed. Chew some between your teeth. It will crunch. It shouldn’t. Nero is alright, he’s in Spain. It’s a uk thing just like the 250g bars were. It’s not real hash.

I’m not 100% sure. I’ve got an old magazine that’s got an article about soap/kak bar. A farmer in Morocco had a barn packed with the stuff. He called it hashish business. A bit odd though as you’d have to smuggle so much more out. I’ve heard it was done in Spain as well. No doubt it’s done here too. The present 100g bars will end up the same quality as the 250g bars were. That’s If people keep buying it and rating it 10/10. They’re already contaminated. I wouldn’t class it as cannabis

It would leave the country of origin however the growers packaged it,then it would end up in the Costa crime in Spain where they would repress it into those 9 ounce bars that you needed a hammer to break,the flat bar was what was left after they extracted the oil and repressed it,both were terrible.

Not being a dick here, but I've been making charas myself and I would STRONGLY recommend against storing in cling film. If the hash is good as soon as the temps start to rise it will melt and fuse to the cling film. Seriously, I learnt the hard way.

Ive cut up cheap silicone baking sheets to make pouches. Works great. A bit of hassle but worth it.

Feel like I'm preaching to the choir but seriously, I did exactly the same thing and it was fine until the temperature started to rise recently. Just a heads up.

Quite simply THE best hashish vendor by a mile on here was/is Hashishin
Sadly for us he’s taking a break at the moment and not sure when he’s back
His wares are authentic land race types from various Middle Eastern areas that are artisanal and uncommonly good
I’ve bought hash from U.K. vendors on here that ‘claim’ their product is ‘Moroccan’ but in reality is a million miles away from Hashishin’s wares
So buyer be warned, there’s some U.K. vendors here claiming their product is clearly something it’s not…

agreed. a lot of this 'moroccan' stuff with the cartoon labels on the slabs is just ice-olator hash. I bought a 6 variety pack from one of these vendors....not a land race in sight...all skunky hashes...and all went mouldy after a couple of weeks - a sure sign that its not dry sift pollen. I just bought something supposedly 'Afghan black' from a another new seller - not Afghan, not landrace, not 'earthy', not even black FFS - straight up bubble hash from some Frankenstein strain. not cool.

That’s definitely shady business practice. And misleading. I don’t like being misled by vendors advertising something that’s clearly not as described. I reckon I’m seeing more honest customer reviews at the moment about this.
Bought some so called ‘Audi’ stamp hash from a U.K. vendor before Xmas which was basically hard and very tacky soap bar and needed a good flame to get it to crumble, the stone was very average as well. I’ve had ‘proper’ Audi stamp from Hashishin (amongst other lovely land race types of hash) and it was pliable and useable without having to use heat and was a completely different hash altogether.
I’ll be very surprised when I see an authentic Middle Eastern hash from a U.K. vendor on here….

The "RS Q3" is called Audi RS Q3 as the RS Q3 Is a model of car, by Audi, just a stamp dude. Just because it doesn't taste the same / similar high to the one from Hashishin doesn't automatically exclude the possibility of it being a true landrace hash. The fact they're 2 different hashes as well may also shine light on the fact they're different, no? Stamps mean nothing, makes me think people are more bothered about the stickers and plastic wrap on their bars nowadays 🤔

Judging on the RS Q3s reviews it seems people definitely enjoy it, so what if it isn't the same as Hashishins mate? They aren't the same bit of draw. If anyone is looking to buy a buy a bit of hash similar to Hashishins Audi Stamp, do not buy my RS Q3.

To be fair I’ve tried half a dozen and none of them were anything like what Hashishin used to sell, despite the claims of authentic ‘Moroccan’ hash. Look out for things like U.K. sellers advertising ‘Audi’ stamp hash and similar vendors on here. It ain’t what it claims to be. That’s all…..

Cheers finsel appreciate the heads up mate. Yeah I saw those and I’ve bought from TGT before with no issues although ain’t used them for a couple of years. Like wise with the others although MrB4real was a bit pricey, I’m sadly not made of money in the current climate so have to be conscious of costs. I think my point was that most of those price wise are actually more expensive than our Middle Eastern friend and they’re U.K. vendors!!
It all cool tho, I’m patient and happy to wait for a return of the main hash man on here.

Live Resin is arguably the Rolls Royce of carts and if you are going to do it properly then I haven’t found better than SN2D.

The downside is that you are paying for the best, you’ve got international postage costs on top and you are going to have to wait for them.

The upside is that they are fully tested dispensary grade dynamite. I’m just finishing a Kurvana ASCND (Northern Lights 96.9%) and it has baked my noodle 😻🔥…more in my basket.

I also have my first Dr.Extracts 50:50 in there too - with that rep how can you go wrong?

I made a few yesterday with crumble from CI and 50/50 pg/ vg....they have come out really nice! My understanding is if you decarb the resin low and slow you maybe able to put it in the carts without a cutting agent? Although I have not tried it yet so can't really confirm.

I was actually trying to mimic their carts. I have some from Dr's extracts, but they blow my balls off, so I use them sparingly. I used the Mike Tyson crumble, was trying to make 3 out of it but ended up with 4, it is a bit fiddly. The stone is very relaxing and dealt with aches and pains. I would say it us in the same ball park as their vapes. I know from talking to them they used unflavoured terpens to thin their carts, the pg/vg mix seems to burn more efficiently and you can rake a massive hit! The only real drawback is the crumble was bright white....it looks like I am vaping spunk!

The quality from the mighty helps to stop the Js, I got it too.
Instead of combusting I use velo snus or eliquids.

Tbh the smell & heaviness of the tobacco joint is enough to put me off, despite the flavour contrast preference from them.

Mightys defo a top product for sure. Like polly said making a sandwich is nice, I use rosin it is pukka m8

I occasionally mix it up with hash, I enjoy using hash with a dosing capsule along with a terp perl, either use a tiny bit of hash like you usually would, or if it's maluable wrap the hash as thin as you can around the terp perl, drop the perl in the capsule, give it time to heat up and enjoy 💨

I've just started after 20+ years of smoking bongs.
After lurking on here and reading stories about different dry herb vapes, I finally asked a question about them and it was Polly that recommended a Tinymight 2 for my needs.
Bought one last week along with a Little ripper bong a glass adaptor and a couple of dosing capsules. Best thing i've ever done!
Hits like a proper bong but i'm no longer coughing my guts up after.

I've been experimenting with that this weekend. Its been hit and miss so far - I only have the solid dosing capsule, which didn't work (the mesh version is on order!).

The most success so far has been through a bong and an ash catcher, using the water pipe adapter and the little rimmed basket that comes with the 3d cooling stem (lined with very thin cotton bacon, and then filled fairly full).

That's given some huge and very satisfying rips, but there's a knack to it that I've not quite got yet. It seems to need a few weak draws to heat everything up (a bit like the vapman), and the ash catcher section helps a cloud to build up, but then it hits hard - similar to flower - I've had some huge clouds.

Definitely some potential with this though, so would love to hear how you get on.

Dry herb vaping is just the best man! I've done it all..spliffs,chillums,waterfalls,bongs,hot knifes,spoon pipes...even a match box with tinfoil lmao ...ahh the alzheimers.
Fast forward 2018...dynavap came up on my radar and haven't looked back since .its like a proper game changer when u smoke and it turns you right off the idea of smoking eventually coz you can taste the rainbow now instead of just smoke n harshness!
Coming off the cigarettes first is a good idea though coz when your used to the smoke,even if you try vaping ,you still need the smoke coz vaping ain't shit ....when your a smoker! I'm sure peeps can relate 😆

Semi-Recently I’ve been having a problem where my high from my mighty has been feeling a lot faster almost racey kind of high, I had previous owned it for around 9 months with no problem with the type of high or any problem at all.

I took one hit of a friends cart and idk why or what it could have been without guess work but a i had a small anxiety attack (which has never happened before on joints or vape) then calmed down after about 2 hours

Ever since the high from my vape has felt off and different, I smoked a joint for new years and it brought back how smoking should feel with either device.

Any advice?

Depending on what strength your green is. It’s never going to be on the THC level of what’s in 510 carts. These carts can be 90+ easy THC level when green can very massively. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong but can as low as you want it to be within reason like CBD green up to mid 30%. So a massive difference in the THC levels as those carts can hit hard. I’ve seen veterans floored due to hitting them hard after being warned lol 😂

If it was live resin in it then again very potent levels of THC compared to green.

I knew a few mates that are the same. I found that if you persevere and know that you’re not going to get that instant hit you do from combustion. The stone I get now I feel is far better and lasts longer.

The advice I was given is. Do you really want a joint or is it the nicotine you’re after? Then you’re like WTF is the point in having a fag might as well roll a joint 🤷‍♂️ that’s when I was burning though my gear and something had to give as we all have a budget. Whatever that my be.

Dynavap is just incredible. I didn't last very long not buying accessories, ended up getting the bb9 stem & DIY kit, so have two full vapes & having a go at carving/sanding my own stem 😂

Already massively cut down on how many joints I smoke and that wasn't intentional!

Get yourself a coil king AIO recommended by Mr DeadRabb1t and a donation by Polly. Simple to use and for me a game changer. As I never really used concentrate unless I was at my mates because of the glass aspect (I can’t have nice things kicking about) I like to limit my concentrate use because it can fuck your tolerance right up. I’ve seen it with mates. They end up not enjoying flower. The best aspect that I find with it is that with glass you need to smash 💥 the full dab but with the king you can have a few blasts and put it down and go back to it.

I like stuff separate. I got all my dyna gear 2nd hand 🖐️ and one was a job lot

M 2020 with green sometimes with the BB9 and low temp cap. I leave that for my best green

Yes it took a while to get the right consistency ground up for vaping but dried chamomile and flower in a pax is heavenly.

I also use vape cotton to vape hash and wax in the pax 2

It's much better than the tiny pax oven you pay a fortune for, which tends to give dry hits and can only vape small micro doses of solid at a time.

I learned this the hard way by shelling out 😗

Vaping keeps me high and active - Combustion coughing and spluttering.

Coughing up more on weed and tobacco is insane also

So I’m on the wrong side of 35 and have smoked on and off since 16. I have two kids and so have the usual guilt associated with smoking. Long story short I’m looking to switch to vaping but my perception is that it is a minefield out there with lots of black market products and the associated risks they bring.

Is there anyone here that has verified 3rd party testing for their carts?

You are wise to question it, and personally I do avoid most cheap carts. That said, you can take confidence in some very highly reviewed and long term carts available on LB. Dr. Extracts would be a very good example with over 3,000 reviews!

If you want Lab figures then a way to go is to pay more for top shelf brands. G6 Extracts provide all the numbers. If you buy brands from the US via SN2D they are highly regulated and tested and come with Lab data.

Thanks Polly. Yeah round my way in South UK lots of those 1010 boys vapes floating about which just taste off.

I’m going to give doctor extracts a try and see how I get on.

I would strongly suggest looking into dry herb vaporizers. Same old trustworthy flower, without the ill health effects of smoking. Look at the Mighty for an endgame vaporizer experience. There is a slight adjustment period for some people, but once you get there it's just as satisfying as a smoke. I love carts too, but you can never be sure. Dry herb vaping is optimal imo.

My issue is that when I had a mighty I would always turn the heat up and then basically end up smoking. Because I have no will power and I love weed.

That's still a million times better than smoking! The mighty only goes up to 210c. I think combustion only occurs around 230c and higher. I would always advocate for doing your own research but for me it is the far healthier choice, even at max temp.

True, but you shouldn’t consider carts as a “lightweight” option. Some of these demons are nearly 100% THC and although I use a high end battery with low voltage options they hit a darn sight harder than my Mighty. Nothing makes me cough more than carts 😖
What they offer over dry herb vaping for me is stealth and convenience…the Mighty is a bit of a stand out down the pub😉

I've had vapes and I've had vapes.
I've had vapes that taste like toilet cleaner gel, I've had vapes that taste like pure chemical crack, I've had vapes that are fruity and I've had vapes that stink of weed. I've given money to people on Tele-gram for nothing but I've never been ripped off here. I think the vape market is about to explode (when they Legalise It) and its only gonna get harder to get authentic vapes. My favourites on here are Dr Extracts and G6, depending on how decadent I'm feeling - the G6s are your superlative product and also just look fucking cool, but you'd expect a smoother ride for that price point. I yearn for the day that all different entheogens are available to microdose on a vape, how cool is it gonna be to trip from a vape? I suppose it may be difficult to master dosage, but I have full confidence that someone somewhere, will. 😊
