Mac N Jack Rosin - Feedback

I grabbed a half gram of this to see how it was.

Unfortunately it was shipped inside a plastic pot and because the rosin is quite runny, it has coated the inside of the pot during transit and leaked out, meaning I have lost some of my product, and what product is remaining is a very thin layer over the inside of the pot, almost impossible to get onto a dabber or tool because it's plastic.

So basically I have wasted my money here as I can barely use the product, and I lost some during transit.

I think this vendor needs to learn from other concentrates suppliers and provide their products in silicone containers instead of plastic, as I certainly won't be buying their concentrates again if they are packaged this way.

Disappointed.

Yeah but most likely he got everything pre-bagged in the plastic pots so this is professional way to secure the contents.. he could easily use cling fling or parchment paper to cap it off also but gonna look like a cowboy job.

The purpose of my post is so that other consumers have information about what happened in my situation so they can make informed choices. I genuinely wanted to give the feedback that silicone works way better IMO. Not trying to destroy your image or make you look bad, it's honest feedback in good faith.

If you want to offer a resolution that's amazing, I'm happy to discuss that in private, but I'm not going to hide this because others deserve to know and people value my views.

My last two batches of extracts were delivered on a really hot day and sat in my metal post box for a few hours so the prognosis wasn’t good 🫣. I had these plastic pots from UCL and to my surprise- wax paper from another supplier (I thought that had gone out with the Arc!), but put them all straight in the fridge. An hour later I was able to transfer them successfully to glass and silicone. Packaging in order of preference:

Silicone
Glass
Plastic
Paper (not really acceptable imo).

A folded square of parchment paper is perfectly good IMO as you can easily take it off the paper into a container of your choice. I wish there was a vendor who did this cos otherwise I have loads of small pots I can't recycle.

Nah I disagree- I want it to actually come in my ‘container of choice’!

And I don’t agree that it’s easy to transfer. In this instance the extract had started to soak into the paper so even with the greatest care and craft knife the paper was scraping into the extract. And you can’t get it all up so there is definitely wastage! 😢 None of that with glass🥳

I’ll DM you the vendor with the paper so you can use them. Meanwhile I can use your pots! 😂👍

If the extract soaked into the paper it wasn't proper parchment paper, the wax would prevent that from happening. This is why people use parchment paper when extracting.

Are you telling me somebody sent you extract on like A4 white paper if so don't bother sending me the link 😂 also if it's Nero, that's a nice coincidence!

😆….Nope it was wax, but like I said it was a hot day and it had been in a hot box. It’s on the run and there is nothing but folded paper to stop it! Madness! 🤪…and yup I’m gonna fish that paper out of the bin and send a photo- it’s soaked in enough to get the paper soggy! ….I mean who the hell would want that mess over a glass jar? I’m used to funky glass jars from a ‘certain supplier’…….🤓
