Hey, sorry for the confusion, let me clear this up. It used to say approx. in our description as it does on the package, but it was accidentally removed when I wrote it again. I'll add that back in.

Here is how we get that number:

For the Tropicana Banana we assume 17.5% THC (although the strain average is actually 20-25%)

We use 40 grams of bud, assume 17.5% THC, giving us approx. 7000mg THC. We use 500grams of butter which returns 400grams when fully infused with the bud.

So 7000mg THC divided by 400 gives us approx. 17.5mg of THC per gram of butter.

We use 145 grams of butter in our brownie recipe which gives us a total of 2537.5mg THC per tray of 16 brownies.

2537.5 divided by 16 = 158.5mg THC per brownie (approx, of course)

This is the formula I use to get my approx strength:

(((a*b)/c)*d)/e

a = total mg of bud (40000)
b = THC% (17.5%)
c = Total amount of butter (400)
d = amount of butter required for recipe (145)
e = total number of servings from recipe (16)

(((40000*0.175)/400)*145)/16 = 158.5mg

While it is an approximation, I try to be as accurate as is possible without lab testing. Thanks for your question.

It’s says 150mg thc in the description. So I’d say thc is 150 mate

It says made with Tropicana banana , so is it an assumption based on the amount that the seed bank says is in the plants buds?

How can the exact amount of thc be known unless lab tested? That’s why I am a little confused
