Let me just preface this by saying how much I loved this strain when I previously had it, but I haven't seen it for a few months since a 14g order was placed with a vendor who'd just sold out of it. Gutted is an understatement. Would we ever see each other again? I grew to doubt it as time went on. Then, this week, Strainsbury's listed a sample pack that had a g of GCC in it. I excitedly messaged them telling them how much I loved this strain, so they suggested I tried a sample pack to see how I got on with this batch. How could I resist?
Order paid for by 13:30 and arrived at 09:30 the next day when sent via 1st Class post. Can't fault that, and can't fault the packaging and stealth too. Every sample was spot on 1g too. 2nd time ordering and both times consistent with stealth and service. Nice pre-roll inclusion with a branded hard joint holder that I can chuckle about with friends when very high.
Anyway, I digress, you probably want to read about the bud. Nice dense little buds that aren't very pungent. Dark green and frosty with lovely hints of orange. An almost frosty grey-ish tone to the dark green and purple ground buds that are still quite dense feeling when ground.
First joint and it starts to hit me about halfway through, and it feels so delightfully and comfortingly familiar. Very smooth smoke and quickly finished. I find myself in front of the TV and about 20 minutes after finishing the joint I realised I was getting higher. 'That's a creeper' is a term I haven't heard for many years, but it definitely applies here.
After being blissfully and contentedly stoned for about an hour, yawning a lot, I thought maybe a 2nd joint may be even better. Almost as soon as I sparked this up my eyeballs felt really heavy (not droopy eyelids, heavy eyeballs... really odd), and I felt more and more happily and heavily stoned as I smoked. By the looks of it I put 0.33g into a joint. Who knew?
So, I think I've found it again. Possibly my Grail weed (maybe yours too? But, you probably don't want to order this as it may well give you the best night's sleep you've ever had, and I want it all).
An amazing evening into night time smoke if you want to sit around contentedly alone or with friends being really high, not doing much, and possibly falling asleep on the sofa. Obviously I love to wake and bake with this, but your day will likely be as incredibly unproductive as mine if you choose the same path. I'd usually just let you make up your minds on what I've written, but if any weed is worth a 10/10 for me it's Grape Cream Cake, even with the price taken into consideration. I'll be getting another 7g soon, while I still have the chance!
